Scorvat
With the rumours picking up for a Lack to buffalo deal picking up. Here is my proposal.TO VAN Kane 2ndTO BUF Hamhuis Higgins Lack Vey/Gaunce/Grenier/other B+ prospectWHY BUFFALO DOES THIS Buffalo has a great young core. They need veteran leadership. With this trade they get 2 veteran players who have made it to the SCF and has a lot of playoff experience. One of whom is an olympic Dman in Hamhuis. Another being Higgins who is a very good 2 way forward who is great on the PK. Plus they get a prospect to develope and/or Vey. And a "potential" star goalie in Lack. Not bad for a player thats never played a game for them. Plus a pick. Plus Kane is rumoured to go to the Canucks when he is a UFA [sPECULATION] so maybe Buffalo would see this as getting atleast something for him.WHY VANCOUVER DOES THIS we make this move to free cap space (Hamhuis, Higgins), and roster spots for youth. If Vey is moved, thatd be 2 spots for a prospect to come in with kane being the one taking Higgins spot. We also move Lack and have the goalie situation taking care of. Then we can look at moving Bieksa at the draft for a 2nd/3rd and bring in a UFA such as Franson/Ehroff on a 1/2 year deal. Not looking too far ahead in this proposal. I think we could work something out here. What does CDC think? OrTO VAN Kane 2ndTO BUF Lack Higgins Hamhuis Kassian

Scorvat
CDC thinks that you need to think before you post proposals...... Um I did think. Sorry u dont agree lol. I understand that people think buffalo wont trade kane. But i think they will. Will they take a chance on him pulling the same stunts with them as he did the Jets. Or would they rather Hamhuis and Higgins? Heck if need be make it Kassian instead of Vet, etc
Gstank29
A) they just aquired Kane so they AREN'T trading him Hamhuis, Higgins = NTC C) They are a REBUILDING team, they have no need for veterans

Scorvat
Not only will they not trade Kane, Hamhuis and Higgins aren't about to waive for Buffalo. Why not? Were not winning the cup anytime soon. Buffalo has something nice going for them with the young stars. Plus they will be traded together instead of going to a new team by themselves. Plus they wont have to deal with the canadian press. Also dont they get paid more? Im pretty sure theres a big difference in vancouvers tax rate and buffalos'

Im pretty sure theres a big difference in vancouvers tax rate and buffalos' Your right that Vancouver is not winning the cup any time soon, but neither is Buffalo. Regardless of money, I don't see two veteran players waiving their NTC to play on a team that will finish 30th in the league again. Now if Buffalo had the weather of Florida or California then these guys might be more inclined to play out their remaining years in the sunshine. Skirbs11
They just gave up Myers, Stafford, 2 great prospects and a 1st round draft pick for Bogosian and Kane, Now you want them to give up Kane and a 2nd for a Aging potential UFA Dman, a 3rd line Winger, and a yet to be seen Starting goalie???? I want what your smoking
