ken kaniff Posted December 20, 2015 Share Posted December 20, 2015 Trade 1: Vancouver: RW Alex Burrows (retained salary if needed), D Jordan Subban, VAN 2016 3rd round draft pick Montreal: D Jarred Tinordi, MTL 1st '16 -Montreal has a serious lack of depth on their RW. They are making a push for the cup. Burrows gives them depth in the position they need most. He hasnt been great this year but our whole team has been bad. a change of scenery would probably boost his production to a 40 point player. And he would definitely waive his NTC to play in MTL. -Tinordi has been scratched every game this year. He's a huge crease clearing defenseman, something we lack. and we also get their 1st this year which will probably be 25-30. _________________________________________ Trade 2: Vancouver: RW Radim Vrbata Pittsburgh: PIT 2nd '16 -Pittsburgh is struggling to score and find someone to play with Crosby. Vrbata is on the last year of his contract and can maybe ignite Crosby. Plus if he doesnt work out then they dont have him on their books for years like some of their other acquisitions *cough* Kessel *cough* -We get a 2nd round pick in this years draft. If the pens start playing well it will be later if not it will maybe even be near the start of the 2nd round. __________________________________________ Trade LW Chris Higgins to anyone that will take him.
