Canucks are pretty deep at wing, at the nhl ahl and prospect levels.

 

Defense is the issue and not a lot of high end potential in ahl/prospects.

 

 

 

Manson is almost 30 and basically a tougher, slower, bigger version of tanev.

 

Rakell is not needed because the next 1-3 years players like Podkolzin Hoglander Lind will be pushing for top 6 

 

With Miller Horvat Boeser signed during that time

 

Pearson leivo will be ufa

 

Virtanen gaudette pettersson are all cub controlled still

 

Roussell Beagle Sutter Ferland Eriksson under contract.

 

Macewan Bailey goldy Baertschi etc could all still be around in 1-3 years.

 

 

Say what you want but if the canucks can get Pietrangelo who's 30/31 for 7 or 8 years at 8 mill I'd be ecstatic, although tanev would likely be gone( no cap)
