And Tardif accomplished a lot when you add it up.  The stats you mentioned.  Two Stanley Cups, an AVCO Cup, Two "WHA Art Ross" Trophies, etc.

 

Cloutier was great in the NHL too.  97 points in 67 games one year.

true, but the NHL is a grudge hodling league

I think they were sorry that Gordie Howe was in the hall of fame before he moved to the WHA, 

I 'm not sure if Bobby Hull ever got in.

 

The current Canucks would do well in the WHA, lots of fire power, no D.

I don't even think they had a trophy for best D-man, haha

 

 the WHA broke the NHL owners stranglehold on player salary and rights, and will never be forgiven for that

that is why Gretzky did not win the Calder trophy
