    Not redundant... kid is still listed as a prospect... I am writing in the Canucks area.

     

    My point is HE IS NOT A PROSPECT.

     

    I am predicting he will be a regular.

     

    Are we not allowed to make any posts about players anywhere but in the Roster or Prospects thread??????

    Bob Mckenzie suggesting Winnipeg may take Jesse with the 2nd Overall pick. Even more of a reason for us to trade up to the #3 - could you imagine getting Laine on Friday?

      In my opinion Jesse P is better than Laine, in fact there is good reason to believe he is the best player in the draft.  He is much more dynamic than Laine and much faster than Matthews.

    The post is a perfectly reasonable suggestion.

    Next time I get another one of these biased shutdowns I am going to write a letter to the management of the forums.

      Very good excuse.  There are a number of people on this board who don't like the attention and approval I get for my threads and who are looking for any excuse to attack me... you enabled them.

       

      Why aren't you looking at comments like the one in my thread about the NHL's bias, on page 5 by 'Green Building'

       

      That is nothing less than a personal attack, with typical childish potty humour... what does it add to the thread?

       

      Some objectivity by moderators is called for.

       

      At this point, as someone who supports the Canucks at a time when they are extremely unpopular... to the point of still going to games, I really don't see why I have to put up with juvenile personal attacks.

    There are dozens and dozens of whiners and crybabies posting complaints about Benning and there have been dozens and dozens of threads screaming for this veteran or player to be traded and none of them get locked.

     

    So when one poster points out those who insisted every vet should be traded are now seeing what they wanted in a nose diving team... you then close it?

     

    What is this>>>>?  Censorship?

      Russian Rocket maybe you need to have a look at the odds in the Draft lottery again.

       

      Tanking is no guarantee of a good pick.   The odds are quite simply... poor.

       

      Unless your concept of 'winning chances' has you spending your time cranking the arm of a slot machine.

      Ahh, so a bunch of the tankers/dump the vets crew whined and complained to the admin so the thread would be locked.

       

      Good plan... too bad it doesn't change the fact the tankers/dump the vets crew are full of it and the current play of the team shows it.

    Post wasn't about the game... was about the way the kid can change a game without even putting points on the board.

     

    This kid has got the physical impact in a game which the Canuck's have not had since Bertuzzi or Linden or Smyl.

      I've raised this point before... in reference to a number of games in the past where Virtanen's physical play changed the game.

       

      Anyway it's done, but hopefully you'll consider next time.
