avelanch
hmm, it must have just been a game off for him last night. 3-1 now with 2:19 left in the second.

davinci
Rough game for Lack tonight... Let in a few softies. I was expecting him to be lights out with the brass watching but wasn't very impressed. Doesn't matter only one game.

Ilya Mikheyev
It looks to me like he might need one more year in the AHL. People forget how everyone thought Cory Schneider was NHL ready after winning the Baz Bastien award for the AHL's top goalie in the 2008-2009 season. Truth is, he needed one more AHL season of 60 games before he was NHL ready and his NHL numbers in 08-09 (when Luongo was injured) & 09-10 proved as much. Schneider had 136 regular season games & 34 post season games in the A before he made the jump. Lack has had 106 combined (regular & post season) games played so far in the AHL and I don't think 60 more would hurt him if it hasn't hurt Schneider... Millerdraft
Eddie Lack ends the season w/ a 29-save, 3-0 shutout win. Edit: Geez, I got ahead of myself lol. The AHL isn't over yet... Still a few games left.

avelanch
Eddie Lack: Recorded his fourth shutout of the season with a 29-save performance at Oklahoma City on Saturday ... His four whitewashes this year are the most by a Wolves netminder in one season since Kari Lehtonen’s five shutouts in 2004-05 ... Shares fourth in the AHL with a .926 save percentage and ranks seventh in the league with a 2.26 goals-against average in 43 matchups this year (20-19-3) http://chicagowolves.com/weekly-reports/3042-weekly-press-notes-for-april-
Millerdraft
Lack's save %, gaa & shutouts are basically identical to last year's. The big difference is in shootout wins. He had 7W 4L last year in shootouts, 2W 3L this year.
avelanch
that's more of a reflection of the team in front of him not being able to score in the SO, he's also had a lot less shootouts than last year in general; only 5 opportunities vs 11 last year. Millerdraft
Yeah I didn't phrase that properly at all. You're definitely right about that. "The 'only' difference is games decided by shootouts" would've been accurate, as opposed to that rather misleading version (not at all my intent). Canvoucer Vanuck
I'm looking forward to him backing up whoever doesn't get traded next season. He's had another great year.
NuxFan09
With the Wolves losing Game 5 and the series to San Antonio tonight, Lack's season is over. He finished the playoffs with a 2-2 record and a 2.17 GAA and .917 Save %.

avelanch
That might make it worth more, no? Unique cards with a printed error by the manufacturer? I'm not a memorabilia collector so I don't really know about that hobby.
Kent.S
only if they recall and correct it. if all 699 cards have the misprint they stay at the same value. and the odd thing it, it was a rookie redemption card, meaning they JUST printed it out. they had a full season to recognize and correct it. who the hell is proofreading this? Kent.S
Can someone answer a question of mine. Since Lack is a RFA and he might sign in Sweden, does that mean he's not our property anymore? Or does that mean if he wants to come back to the NHL any team could pick him up?
