Pick different players every week, chose 1 star forward, defence, goalie (earns you 2x the points) 1 point for goals/assists, 2 points for a goalie win Best score in the nation at the end of the year gets a new KIA! We are a simulated hockey league, running Eastside Hockey Manager to "sim" hockey seasons. Players act as general managers of teams, where they can sign, trade, and draft players to their rosters, manage lines and strategies, and do whatever necessary to win games. The ultimate prize in the SCHL is the SCHL Cup, which is awarded to the team who comes on top in the playoffs. The SCHL also has its on chat-room, where our admin will usually sim games on a 2-3 day basis. Going to the sims will give give you a chance to fill in players who are injured and talk trades with other GM's who show up. We also have live drafts and private free agent bidding during the offseason. Don't be afraid to ask if you have any questions. All the GM's are very friendly and will help you. Maybe you're like Ovechkin and you want to score 50 goals a season. Or, perhaps you want to be like Thornton and lead the league in assists every year. Of course, being a heavyweight like Colton Orr, or a punishing defenseman like Dion Phaneuf can be rewarding too. Now, with the Simulation Hockey League, you have a chance to create your own player and define your own legacy! check it out: http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php? How does it work? Simple: first, create your account for the forums, then you create your player from scratch, full of all the customization you could dream of, from the create a player form. You pick from what type of player you are, whether it be grinder, two-way forward, offensive forward, defensive defenseman, or offensive defenseman. We're just finished season 6, and we are looking for more members to take part in our junior league. You will get drafted by one of the 8 junior league teams, which will get the GM's to "scout" you before the SHL (main league) entry draft at the end of the junior league season. We just expanded to 8 teams, so we have alot of spots to fill! The SHL is run by experienced administrators who love simulation hockey, and are devoted to making the league a great experience for all of its members. It uses the SimonT Hockey Simulator for simming all of the games, and will provide live play by play (and with it, an exciting atmosphere) for each simulated game. Click here for an example of a game. you can improve your player, negotiate your contract, you can find a job to earn yourself some extra cash (used to improve your player). This the first season we've done really well I think, more than 200 active managers, and hopefully we will have more than the 373 ranked teams next season. Anyhow, the play offs registration has opened up for sign up and it's free for anyone to join!
