NuckZin2011
Hi all, I don't know about you, I have the feeling that Kesler was playing injured the entire season. I don't think he ever fully recovered from his off season surgery. To me, he never seemed to get his legs back and he was a step behind where he was last year. Hopefully a long break this summer will have him back to the Kes we all know and love.
PENGUINScanFLY
He was still our fourth "best" player this year, I just think last season was a career year for him
cIutch
i think a longer summer will really help him , i expect to see him with a better shot next year
Guest
As bad as it sounds. I hope that wasn't the 100% Kesler that we'll have from now on. I hope last year wasn't a one hit wonder.
Cause=Time
Scarier but more pertinent question: Will Kesler ever be 100% again?
Pierre's Personal Bubble
I've always gone under the assumption that major hip surgeries take a full year to heal properly.
flapjacks
He got his chances. Just didn't bury them like last year. He also got a lot of his goals from powerplays, which as we all know, has dropped significantly as compared to last year. His strides seem to be there during the latter half of the season, but he just wasn't able to capitalize. Too bad. Like PenguinsCanFly said, last season was probably just a career year for him. GoaltenderInterference
If he was, why did he come back so early in the season? He could have had a bit more time to heal.
Smyl ( :
I'm sure he was playing thru his recovery..I hope he hasn't plateaued to this level..
Laoag
Trade him while his price tag is high and get someone who can play a team game.
Krogl309
Interesting question. Methinks something was definately wrong with Kes this year. Injury recovery the most likely.
nuck nit
Kes is a warrior and needs a good rest. Now ,at least, he gets it. We needed a strong Kes in beast mode to win anything and that was not possible this year. In many ways an early exit is good for the team.
nucks115
he shouldn't have come back so early!

TheWheeler
If Kesler WASNT 100%, then that makes the Hodgson trade even more stupid.
