Pasific Coluseum
He is currently a free agent that could be had for cheap who would obviously relish playing out his career in his home province. He'd be a good 4th line depth player, power play specialist if Garrison ends up a dud. Not that I think he will but anything can happen! Just think this would be a good signing instead of guys like PATRICK MULLEN, ANDREW EBBET AND STEVE PINOZOTTO <----- career AHL'ers. BMO is tried tested and true and could do what he did in Calgary and surprise us once again. I say he's good for at the very least 15g-25a-50pts
SOB for MVP
No sympathy signings. Steve Tambellini did not offer his own son a contract to stay in the NHL.
Ryan Murray
Why would you sign him? Sign someone that can actually make a big difference!

Tortorella's Rant
Brendan would want to be a contributor. Not to be felt sorry for. His time is done. And it's not coming as a big surprise to him I'd say given that he's bounced around the league since leaving Vancouver. When that happens and you're 30+ years old.. CanucksFanMike
Way past his prime... retirement is in his near future. Just doesn't have it in him to play at a high level each night in the NHL.
KING ALBERTS
i really like b-mo... unfortunatly he is too small to fit into a 3rd line shutdown role... and honestly, our 4th line is kind of set up to crash and bang too. i think they should invite b-mo to training camp... light a fire under our rookies, and if he ends up outplaying them - SIGN HIM to fill in for kesler + post injury... what do we have to lose? its just cap space, and not much at that. on second thought, i bet AV would have him riding the pine or playing the scapegoat... not the way i'd want to see b-mo end
iinteenseee
I loved BMo during his time here but the NHL is a business, it would be ridiculous to offer someone a job just because you "felt bad for them".
Thunder Bunnies
Maybe give him a try-out and hopefully some other team signs him so he can stay in the NHL for a bit longer, I think he still has a year or two left in him.

D.Doughty
If salo (injured 200+ games in career) could find a 2 year contract, I'm pretty sure B-Mo can find one too. And if we sign Morrison, bring back Naslund too! Wooo
goblix
Sadly nope, We have the cap lets use it on something good here.... Plus we are trying to get younger. Love Morrison but nope.
kacvan
We could use a good 3/4 line centre. BMo would be great for the team.
Spencer Drew
I hope the Canucks give him a shot at least, like give him a tryout... you just never know unless you take the chance... Imagine if he could come back here and help the Canucks win their first Cup.. BC boy, and hometown hero besides Shea Weber eh, that would be something... Cakeman
Morrison wasn't prepared to fight for a job here two years ago, he wanted an NHL job guaranteed. So why the hell should the Canucks offer him another chance, now that he's unemployed. It's always been a business to Morrison, so it should also be a business for the Canucks. Why do people have this sort of silly and useless idea. We need to go forward, not back.

nanaimo
It would be nice to have him sign a 1 day contract and retire as a Canuck. While this has been reserved for players like Modano in Dallas, I think sentiments like this speak well for the organization. Also, they should sign Chris Levesque as back up.
