I don't really see the point to the Weber trade. WOuld rather not trade a prospect + pick for an 8th D

Honestly you should know better by now than to make proposals. More often than not, they're going to be shot down.

It's partially the nature of CDC, but mostly attributable to the fact that 99% of all proposals on here are complete garbage.

The Mike Weber trade makes absolutely no sense to me, as we have developing d-men who I'd rather give a shot to than another depth defenseman. Why trade for him if he's going to be our 8th defenseman after Alberts? :picard:

The defensive depth is in no particular order, Weber would be a better option then Alberts and he was supposed to be ahead of him. Weber is very aggressive, he is big, and usually pretty good in his own zone. He would fill in for a injury and we always have injuries on the back end.

Changed the order.

Hey. Thanks for putting up the proposal. As you can tell, you have to be part masochistic and part fortune teller to make predictions around here.

I for one like the first trade. Like others I do not understand the need for the second trade.

I would prefer to get something more substantial than Mattias for Luongo I would like to add to Luongo to get Bjugstad instead of Florida giving us lower talent and then adding to make up the difference.

Basically the same team that lost in 5 games to LA. Raymond will not cut it. Where will Arnott go when Kes is back? Shawn Matthias is a good addition, but not the game changer we need for a SC.

I have made proposals before, but never gotten the type of reactions I have gotten lately. Maybe everyone is just angry about something, a lot people have been telling other people their proposals suck lately.

We have more depth on both offense and defense, and it is better depth than last year. Arnott would drop to fourth line duty after Kesler comes back and Weise will slot out of the line up. Matthias could play a key role on our team with better players surrounding him. As for Raymond MG re-signed him for another year and he has to go somewhere, if Doan doesn't come here.

I have to think Gillis will out for a potential top 6 winger for Luongo if we can't get Doan. If we do get Doan then this deal's not bad but it's looking like he'll return to Phoenix.

Right now any trade involving Luongo is pretty much a crap shoot. Yeah, I guess if Doan ACTUALLY decided to come here then the deal would look much better, than it does now.
