Chicago suffers injuries too Fowler, Hamilton, and Johnson to end up going 6-8-1 narrowly missing the playoffs by 3pts. After starting 7-16-2 in the first 25 games (last place in league) the organization made franchise changing deals in an attempt to scrape back into the playoff picture, but in the end came up short in what turned out to be a dog fight right til the very last game in the West, with just 8pts seperating 1st from 8th, and only 10pts seperating 1st from 11th,

The Blackhawks organization would like to congratulate those teams that made it in.

Have a great playoff run fellas.

15th through 26th picks are teams that were eliminated within the first 2 rounds of the playoffs, in order of their finishing position (worst record picks highest). Division winners always pick last.

27th and 28th picks go to the runner-ups in the Conference Finals (again, order of finishing position and division winners always pick last)

29th goes to the Stanley Cup runner-up and 30th goes to the Stanley Cup Champion.
