Pitton IMO opinion is worth 4 first rounders. If he was on any other team I would've offered him the same. I gave up more value than 4 first rounders to acquire Pitton in the first place. I told Trav before anyone bid that LA was bidding league max on Pitton. LA also bid the asking 4 years that Pitton was demanding.

Also remember that LA won the western conference last year.

LA doesn't need the draft picks.

LW - 1 x 4.5 star, 3 x 3.5 star prospects not in the lineup

C - 4 x 3.5 star prospects not in the lineup

RW - 2 x 4 star, 1 x 3.5 star prospects not in the lineup

D - 3 x 3.5 star prospects not in the lineup

G - 4 star prospect not in the lineup

Based on that prospect depth, what does LA need with 4 first round picks that will likely be more 3.5 star prospects. They are stacked at every position.

I'm a little shocked that you think I would tank a team; I've taken LA from the dumps and turned them around in 2 years to a legitimate contender in the West. The future is bright here in LA and I'm dreaming for an eventual LA vs Washington Stanley Cup Final.

He maybe worth 4 1st rounders to you, but I doubt any other GMs would have gave that compensation. The fact that the other team you control did it, makes it sketchy.

I bided on Pitton but, I maxed out at 10m, which would have only gave you a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd.

Like I said, you could easily tank the next four years or try to seem like you're tanking and get a top 10 pick for the next four years.
