Two possible realistic proposals for Luongo, as it's not likely he will be bringing any established roster players or a level prospects

Van- Edmonton Luongo for 2013 2nd and 2013 3rd.

Edmonton can afford to take his cap hit and Edmonton can afford to miss there 2nd and third this year being as they have loads of A1 prospects and draft 7th overall this year.

Van wins by dumping Lous contract, clearing up all the controversy surrounding goaltending and letting the team move forward with Schneider.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Realistic means that it's something that is feasible and not just a pipe dream by one team or another. Hope this helps.

How is trading an elite goalie to a division rival that will be ridiculously good in 2-3 years for two picks realistic? I think you need to look up the definition of realistic again.

I don't think any team will make an offer for Luongo, as there's better options available.

Luongo to Florida for Vincent Trochek

Luongo to Florida for Petrovic

Luongo to Florida for 2nd and 3rd, McFarland. Use 2nd to draft Justin Bailey.

Luongo and our 1st to Philly for Scott Laughton and their 2nd.

It's not realistic as Luongo won't go to Edmonton.

McCoy: We were speculating. Is God really out there?
Kirk: Maybe he's not out there, Bones. Maybe he's right here. [points to his heart]

Luongo (retain 30%) and a 3rd to Florida for Kopecky, a prospect and a 2nd (this year or next year)

there are only a few teams that may want him
NYI
Florida
Philly (if they buy out bryz)
maybe Toronto if they are still interested

Edmonton is content with Dubnyk because he wasnt bad this season. their defense is garbage though

Luongo will go anywhere that he can play as the starter. I think you will find he will be slot less choosy come time for a trade, and going into a season with a lower cap Gillis can't afford to turn down very many offers.
