Posted May 3, 2013 Share Posted May 3, 2013 Two possible realistic proposals for Luongo, as it's not likely he will be bringing any established roster players or a level prospects Van- Edmonton Luongo for 2013 2nd and 2013 3rd. Edmonton can afford to take his cap hit and Edmonton can afford to miss there 2nd and third this year being as they have loads of A1 prospects and draft 7th overall this year. Van wins by dumping Lous contract, clearing up all the controversy surrounding goaltending and letting the team move forward with Schneider. I think you will find he will be slot less choosy come time for a trade, and going into a season with a lower cap Gillis can't afford to turn down very many offers.
