  1. Football and hockey players are some of toughest athletes in any sport. You'll never see someone in basketball or baseball play through something like that.
  2. Thanks for the help, I rarely find Patriots merchandise in BC as all I have is a Tom Brady t-shirt. All you see is Seahawks or 49ers stuff and certain player jerseys like Manning or Rodgers. I'm hoping that I can go to Foxborough next season and watch a game at Gillete Stadium, then I can also get some sweet Patriots gear.
  3. The day after the Super Bowl I ended up buying: Super Bowl XLIX Champions hoodie (it has We Are All Patriots on it) Blu Ray copy of the Super Bowl Championship Locker Room towel (to hang somewhere) Lanyard that has champions on it My question is where locally can I get a stitched Patriots jersey? I only have 1 NFL jersey and its a laser printed Hasselbeck one I got when I went to a Seahawks game. If anyone knows a place in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver where I can get a stitched player name & number jersey, please let me know.
  4. I was some what superstitious through the first 3 quarters but once it hit the 4th quarter I became extremely superstitious. I had a couple buddies over and as I sat back down to start the 4th Q my phone dropped under my leg, I was going to pick it up but the Patriots got a first down. So for the entire 4th quarter my phone was under my leg, while I kept getting messages from others that one of my buddies had messed around with my FB status. It was so rough because all my buds kept saying check your phone to find out, but I couldn't because the Patriots "needed" me to sit with my phone under my leg and hand on my face. During the 2 minute warning, I quickly picked up my phone to see someone had posted "D*cks <3" as my FB status (I don't use FB anymore so didn't really care). Then what happens Kearse makes that unbelievable catch and I forgot to put my phone under my leg. So back goes the phone and Bulter makes the interception, but I still didn't celebrate because I was worried about Seattle getting a possible safety. Once Brady took that 2nd kneel, I finally got to enjoy the interception and win. Rubbed it in all my Seahawk fan friends, it felt so good!
  5. Nightcrawler- 7/10 Jake Gyllenhal was great in the movie, but overall I thought it was alright . I do think the movie was overhyped and doesn't live up to it. To me this was one of Jake Gyllenhal's weakest movies.
  6. Well that Royal Rumble match left a really bad taste in my mouth, but that championship match was fantastic! I usually like the Royal Rumble match to be last, but I wish the championship match was last instead.
  7. That championship match was very solid, really impressed by it. Had me at the edge of my seat!
  8. American Sniper- 8/10 Really enjoyed the movie, was better than I expected and had more action also. Some pretty rough scenes in the movie which helped show how rough war is both on the people and soldiers. The most surreal moment was once the movie ended and everyone stayed in their seats to see the clips they were showing, once those ended everyone got up and no one really said a word. Aside from some people whispering it was very quiet and the mood felt quite somber. It was one of the weirdest and coolest experiences I've had at the movies.
  9. RAW was actually entertaining tonight, best RAW of the year so far. Brock Lesnar was a monster, the reunion was fun to watch, and there some pretty decent matches in between everything that happened.
  10. This is pretty much the perfect Super Bowl for me! My #1 team (Patriots) vs my #2 team (Seahawks), I'm definitely hoping and cheering for the Patriots to win but won't completely devastated if they lose because that would mean that the Seahawks have won. It will still hurt a lot if the Seahawks do beat the Patriots, but here's to hoping for a Patriots win and for Brady to get that 4th ring!
  11. Lone Survivor- 8.5/10 It's up there as very good war movie, my 4th favourite war film now behind Saving Private Ryan, Inglorious Bastards, and Fury. Definitely shines a light to how tough it truly is to be a soldier.
  12. Saving Private Ryan- 9/10 What a movie, this has become my favourite war movie hands down. The actors were great, it made war look truly brutal and rough. Just an amazing movie.
  13. Movies I've watched so far this year Let's Be Cops- 8.5/10 Thought it was hilarious, one scene had me laughing for a good 2 minutes. Here Comes The Boom- 6/10 Good movie if you're trying to pass some time, overall an average flick. You will hate this if you don't like a typical Kevin James movie. The Grand Budapest Hotel- 8.5/10 This movie was great, really enjoyed Ralph Fiennes in this one. The movie made me laugh at time and I liked the overall look of the film, the story was also interesting. Black Hawk Down- 6.5/10 I don't know but I didn't really like this all that much. I think my friend might have overhyped it, but I thought it was decent overall. I did enjoy it more towards the ending.
  14. I went back in August and it was actually a lot of fun. Went with a couple of buddies, we had cheap seats and had a good time. The show was about 2 hours long if I remember correctly, and the set up is way better than it used to be. I went to a couple events in the mid-200's when they came to Vancouver and remember them coming out from behind a big black curtain. The one in Abby however actually had a proper ramp with the screens for entrance, albeit smaller compared to the ones you see on TV. The production value has definitely gone up and the matches were actually really good. The Randy Orton vs Dolp Ziggler match that night was very entertaining, along with the Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose match.
  15. The Interview- 7.5/10 This movie was kind of weird to rate, but it made me laugh many times. The North Korean parts were very weird, that part of the movie was hit and miss. Overall it was better than what I expected, but not as good as Franco and Rogens other movies.
  16. Like hell Undertaker is going to lose again. Undertaker better not lose again at Wrestlemania, especially not to Roman Reigns. Losing to Brock Lesnar was random but Brock is a freak and he is the only person I can actually see beat up Undertaker. Give Triple H the match vs Sting Have it be a triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but it should be Reigns vs Lesnar vs Rollins Have Undertaker fight John Cena at Wrestlemania, with this being Takers last match and having him win Push Cesaro and have him vs Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship We all know the Usos will have the belt by then, so have them vs The Ascension (if they turn out to be good, that is) otherwise form a tag team of Adam Rose and Tyson Kidd (which would enter the tag team title picture by the Fast Lane PPV) Have Nikki Bella keep the Divas Championship until Wrestlemania and give Paige a push, then have them face each other (Brie Bella could cost Nikki the match maybe) Since Hulk Hogan has asked for 1 last match and to go out with a belt, let it be Hulk Hogan who crushes Rusev and takes away the U.S. Championship from him. Start a feud between The Miz and Dean Ambrose at Royal Rumble, then have them face each other at Wrestlemania. Make it a No DQ match and have Mizdow turn against The Miz which causes Miz to lose. After the 3 count have Mizdow take the mic and say "My name is Sandow" and then he hits Miz with his own finisher (Starts Miz vs Sandow feud) Also create a new title or bring back a title like the European Championship or the light heavyweight championship, then have a 15 man over the top rope Battle Royal. Bad News Barrett (if he can comeback) vs Big E vs Big Show vs Bray Wyatt vs Erick Rowan vs Fandango vs Jack Swagger vs Kane vs Kofi Kingston vs Luke Harper vs Mark Henry vs Randy Orton vs Ryback vs Sheamus vs Xavier Woods Have the final 5 left be Bray Wyatt, Kane, Randy Orton, Ryback, and Sheamus. This can be a great set up now for Randy Orton and Kane to start a feud or continue a feud, both get eliminated while fighting against each other. Now you have Bray Wyatt, Ryback, and Sheamus left, have Sheamus eliminate Ryback. Then have the both of them fight for some time and let Sheamus throw Wyatt over the top rope, which results in Sheamus now being a champion. 9 matches total for WM31
  17. Exodus: Gods and Kings- 8/10 I don't really know the story of Moses and Ramses, all I knew was that there were 12 plagues, a parting of a sea, and Ten Commandments (I'm not a Christian). Just going off the movie alone, I really liked it and thought the story was really interesting. The cast was quite solid, had my doubts about the guy who was playing Ramses (saw him in Warrior) but he was actually very good. The movie looks epic just by the way scenes are shot and how grand everything looks, the 3D was poor though. I personally thought it was a solid movie all around, maybe the runtime is a little bit too long but it's still a good movie regardless.
  18. Oh man what an ending!!! STING!!! Boy did Big Show F up big time, that guys going to get it now.
  19. Picked up the XB1 from Costco yesterday, along with 2 games from Target. Costco has a solid deal on the XB1, it's the standard 500GB Kinect bundle with Forza plus another controller, play and charge kit, and the remote for $500. They also XB Live for $49 and NHL 15 for $40. Target meanwhile has a buy 2 get 1 free deal on all games in store. Picked up Halo: MCC, Madden NFL 15 (XB1), and FIFA 15 (PS4) but I will try to return Madden for CoD: Advanced Warfare (XB1) on a day they get more in stock.
  20. Fury- 9/10 I thought it was awesome, also Remembrance Day was the perfect day to watch it. I liked how gritty and brutal the movie was, it didn't in anyway glorify war and showed how it would most likely be which I really liked. As I was going to the movie I thought for sure I would fall asleep while watching it because I was tired but it was the complete opposite. The movie had some funny moments unexpectedly which were good, but it's tense moments were very well done to me. It lost a point because I didn't really like the way the movie ended, but overall it's a solid war movie.
  21. Big Hero 6- 8.5/10 The movie was really good! Disney did a good job with this one, only negatives I have are that the 3D was pretty subpar and it was a little too long. It was much more emotional than I expected and it had an all around good story. It would've been better if only there wasn't a scene or two that dragged on for a bit and made the movie feel boring at parts. Watched it in DBox which helped make the experience more fun.
  22. I'm only interested in Cena winning if he is heel, otherwise keep him a loser. I'd rather watch a Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns main event for the title at Wrestlemania. I'm so sick of babyface Cena and I'm actually a huge fan of his. I would also like Randy Orton to start beating the hell out of people, once he's healthy again. Side question, why is the WWE not pushing Cesaro?? The guy is a beast and he would make an awesome face, 2015 should have Cesaro rise up and give him a belt. Maybe Cesaro could be the guy to beat Rusev for the US Championship next year at Wrestlemania or something.
  23. Oh man that was hilarious, replayed it probably 20 times at least. Couldn't stop laughing especially after he yells "Finish him Seth!!"
  24. Screw you WWE!! Never ordering a PPV again, they always ruin the last match now. Why couldn't Wyatt just show up after the match had ended, the actual event was really good and the final match was going awesome but then they ruin it with the garbage they pulled.
  25. I'm so pissed with this Smackdown, being the 15th Anniversary episode after all. Best part was Teddy Long coming back and that scene between Triple H and The Rock. What they should've done: - Have Edge and Christian there live - John Cena changes intro to Thuganomics for 1 night - Forced Brock Lesnar to show up - Have Big Show confront Rusev - Asked Rock to show up here, instead of Raw on Monday - Tribute to past WWE Smackdown legends, right off the bat - Have Booker T play a bigger part - Utilize Kane in a better way - Actually reveal who the bunny is - Better Divas match - Have John Cena and Dean Ambrose in actual matches - Seth Rollins should've fought Adam Rose - Make episode 3 hours long - Have small videos where past Smackdown superstars mention their favourite Smackdown moment - Make it actually feel like a proper Smackdown 15th Anniversary episode WWE dropped the ball big time, I started re-watching wrestling over the summer and initially was thinking "why did I stop watching? This is pretty entertaining" but now I remember why I stopped in the first place.
