Watching the Bruins just killing the Devils. Jack is s great skater, but he is no match for the men on the Bruins. Is he eligible for the AHL?
Yes NCAA players don’t have to follow chl rules and can go straight to thevAHL

Honestly you deserve to lose your license. BCers pay insane insurance rates because of drivers excessively speeding and causing accidents.
Not paying attention likely causes many more accidents then speed, unless there are many others on the road and you are weaving in and out

Schaller is a center and we got Graovac down in the A. Jt miller is another guy that can play center.
Neither of which deserve to be in the NHL

me either. they should load up the first pp and put Pearson or Horvat out there, and sorry but get rid of Newell Brown
Horvat is out there too; 4 forwards

Leivo again on the PP1 but can barely make the 3rd line. Ferland again throwing 0 hits. Will be a long season if this trend continues

I agree. However us it best for a fan (Aquilini) to be involved in hockey opps? It would be like one of us making decisions. Crazy stuff would happen.
When its your money you have every right to

Yeah, he hit the ice real good
LOL, Leivo on the 1st PP yet he can barely make the 3rd line and IMO should be on the 4th with Beagle

Did Ferland make a single hit?

So goes all those stories about Laine holding out for 11 million

It was long rumored that the reason that the Heat flopped in Abbotsford is because they weren't the Comets.
I am pretty sure that the Comets would be able to sell out that arena fairly regularly.
I doubt it, they had a hard time selling out that game, tickets were available one week ago

This is going to be Virtanen’s year. Some of you will be awfully embarrassed by the hate you are throwing Jake’s way when the wrecking ball starts to roll!
He is sure starting it out right in Group C

No they don't.
Virtanen- 47.8%
Laine- 46.2%
And that doesn't take into account the fact that Laine was deployed in the top 6 for most of the season, while Virtanen played up and down the lineup. I don't have the stats in fron of me, but I'm willing to bet Laine got a larger percentage of O-zone starts than Virtanen did as well.
What are you talking about Laine is 55.6 Virtanen is 50.8. Maybe I’m just seeing it wrong.

Even if you go to even strength they aren’t your numbers, they are pretty much the same and better than your numbers

Wow, he’s not that bad

Bed time for old Alf, when the fancy stats get paraded out.
Yea facts don’t care about feelings.
I cant believe people here are saying they’d rather have Jake and Laine. #HomerVision

For 10 million I don’t want Laine. I’d much rather have Bess for 6, Jake for 1.5, and have 3.5 left for Beagle. JB is building a team. Laine would not be good for the team. Jake is perfect for our third line.
You assume he wants 10 million, can’t pick numbers out of thin air

With respect,
like I said.... he scored more goals than over 60% of 1st round forwards in his draft year (yes small sample size) Hes defneitly worth a first rounder. Not all picks can be pretty boeser or hughes.
I'm just sayin if they move the kid.... get actual value.... we dont need to see a Taylor hall scenario in vancouver.
I agree, except the potential value of 1st rounders are way over inflated, hence why so many teams over value their first rounders and therefore Virtanen wouldn’t be traded for one. He’d be traded for another young player instead of a draft pick. I would t trade him for a 2nd rounder as you said, he’s worth more than a 2nd as most never turn into anything

Bad form. Jake is a far superior defensively aware player than Laine.
And Laine easily by far plays better offensively. Which would you rather have?

Especially when he hits and hurts himself
