      What I find amusing is the gender divide over it:

       

      female reaction: "Wow, he looks 20 years younger" or "He looks so much better now"

       

      male reaction: "Aw, man, hope he grows it back"

       

      The last time I shaved MY beard off, it was over 20 years at the behest of a woman.  Will NEVER do that again.

      My wife likes my fur, and all the scars of life that define me.  

      Why do some guys shave their fur?
