I heard that if a player scores 5 goals, you are entered into a million dollar draw. And when a certain number of participants are entered, they'll draw the million dollar winner. So we'll need many "winners" before the million dollars is given out. And there has never even been one.

Diaz scores 5 goals making Sandra T from Chilliwack, BC the million dollar winner on Safeway Score & Win. Not to be outdone, Schroeder scroes a natural double hat trick as the Canucks go on to route the Canadiens 11-0.

I'm not blaming it on the injuries, but with the line-up we have and the lack of confidence this team has right now, this game is not bad. Not bad at all. We're still in it. It seems like people are scared that if the Canucks do okay, it'll trick Gillis into thinking all the problems are gone and he won't make any moves, so we need to point out how terrible it is. When it's actually not too bad.

I feel bad for Torts. Seeing him trying to keep his team's spirit up. Like when a parent is offering McDonald's to their kid to stop them from crying but the kid is already so far gone he doesn't want anything.

Yeah, I would love the immersiveness of it. The small clips they showed on NHL Reveal where you could hear the on ice banter was great. Would love to watch all games with the ice mic'ed. Should make a radio version of it we could play and turn the tv volume down.

We had a couple chances to bang one in down low. Lack of confidence. This game is not out of reach by any means though. And yes "We didn't totally suck!" is a positive thing right now with the confidence we have. It's something to build on. Something small, but it's something.
