  1. No. Wait until the season is over before committing to more contracts. If he has a good year there will be a deal to be made at that time.
  2. That's the problem.....not so long ago they were all winnable. Now we rationalize and spot-pick.
  3. Kassian's main problem is that he has to 'think' about every move on the ice. Not much of it comes instinctively. He needs time to process the play, and by the time he does and acts on it, the moment is over. Low hockey IQ. Will/could he get better? I don't know except to say I'm waiting to see more. But I will admit that as each day passes, I think more that Darcy Regier shook Gillis down that day.
  4. No, not happening. I can't remember how many years he signed for, but Aquaman won't eat those years gladly. Gillis will be seriously on the hotseat well before Torts is.
  5. The only reason people were 'wrong' about Schneider is because all 29 teams in the league wanted no part of Luongo and his contract.
  6. That's about it. If Bieksa wants to blow off steam after a loss, that's fine, whatever. But it doesn't mean anything.
  7. Naw, he's just frustrated and found someone to take it out on.
  8. They were celebrating the fact the pig stood still long enough for the boys to put some lipstick on it.
  9. Easy, that kind of wide-range thinking isn't a default position for some people here.
  10. Let's not stop there, maybe we can call Pittsburgh and see if Crosby for Edler is a go.
  11. You mean he has a low hockey IQ? I'd like to introduce you to .... NucksCup2015. Have atter!
  12. He just need to sort out how he can play? That goes back to what I said....low hockey IQ, man.
  13. Considering Kane was a 4th overall pick and Edler is a faltering 3rd rounder, I bet you would.
  14. Kassian has a low hockey IQ. He needs to play hard, engaged and with passion continuously to overcome that serious deficiency. If he doesn't do those things...well, you know what the answer is.
  15. I don't want to go down that road. He's a flake. You don't win big with flakes. Unless they're goalies.
  16. Dude, we're here because we ARE diehards. We're just not interested in mediocrity. Don't you get that?
