6/49 is the limit for me. I know from hockey pools int he past, my judgement and love of certain players and teams would just be me throwing my money away.

My fave year ever was the year Bert busted out. We were league where the value of a player would go up and down like a stock. I was down bad and said eff it and picked up Bert and Naslund during the year they made names for themselves and took over. My whole team was Canucks and by the ends I'd sold them all except Bert and Nas and the total value of my team was 2x everyone else.

    I won that $500 handedly!

I got sick of Seattle not trying to fix glaring problems with its offensive line. In combination of arrogant players, and owners. I just got totally turned off.

And I grew up with and love football. If I'm at a pub and a game is on I'll watch. But I don't go out of my way. Gambling sites and talk about football spreads turn me off too.

I miss the John Lynch hit to hurt days.

    'Angel' has passed away:

    "

Stuart Margolin, best known for his Emmy Award-winning portrayal of Evelyn “Angel” Martin on The Rockford Files, has died. He was 82.

The actor’s passing was announced on social media earlier today by his stepson, actor Max Martini, who paid tribute to Margolin with an emotional Instagram post.

The two most profound moments in my life… the birth of my kids and being bedside as my step-father passed this morning,” Martini wrote. “My mother, brother and I holding his hands. All the time in between birth and death, life, is up to us to fill with equally profound moments. Anyway, it made me realize how much time I’ve wasted on things that were never going to amount to anything. Just a profound realization I thought I’d share. Love you Stuart Margolin. A great actor/writer/producer/director. But more importantly, a profoundly gifted step-father that was always there with love and support for his family. RIP Pappy. Keep ‘em cold.”

Margolin won two Primetime Emmys for Outstanding Supporting Actor (in 1979 and 1980) for playing Rockford‘s Angel, a role he later reprised in a series of made-for-TV movies. His lengthy TV resumé includes roles on countless iconic TV shows, including The Fugitive, The Monkees, Bewitched, That Girl, The Partridge Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Gunsmoke, M*A*S*H, Rhoda, Magnum P.I., NCIS and The X-Files.

Margolin died of natural causes, according to The Hollywood Reporter."

    My dad's favorite show.

Even if they do that it sounds like their cars and trucks are crap anyway.  Just took advantage of the whole “green wave”.  Now that those people who buy “green” see Musk in a negative way their blinders are off and realize they own crap.  Tesla is dead, and Twitter is soon to follow.  Musk will soon be forgotten.

Best part...theyre not even green considering what is needed to build them and power them in some areas. The big companies are catching up on electric options isn't helping either.

Honestly, would it matter? They did what they did against the Netherlands. They can't undo it....

I was pulling for Morocco in tomorrow's game, but whoever comes out of that side of the table will have my full support.

I don't care if they dive every 20 seconds. I want Messi to win it all just because mostly he hasn't been a diver over the years but also as I know it would show up Rinaldo who is the biggest diver I can think of. :bigblush:

The meddling allowed by Campbell in 2011 will always leave a bad taste in my mouth, especially with Chara basically leaking league info was funnelled to them.

While 2011 is certainly a low point the Campbell emails in general showed continued favoritism for his baby boy....plus Bettman is/was Jeremy Jacobs' *&!@ holster.
