Ohlund for me, man could we use him now.

I was lucky and got to go to a Canucks thing a few years back where he was speaking and meeting fans, and he talked about not even being able to put on skates just to be on the ice with is kid. Sometimes these guys give a lot.

I was right in front of Ohlund in the cafeteria line on the ferry to the island. We chatted for a good 10 minutes waiting. Nice guy!

Not even lace em up. Wow :(

this might be one of those where a player has to think about the rest of his life. Do you risk lifetime pain for a a comeback at this point? Listening to guys like Jovo and Ohlund talk about the pain they live with now its pretty sad stuff.

Well Jovo is a stand out case. He was freakin reckless out there. In all best ways...

One of my all time favorite players. I still remember being sad and overjoyed the day Bure left and Jovo arrived..

Wasn't he the guy that gave knee hits or am confusing him with another player? In any event, RIP.

He was not a clean player by any means. An absolute threat to hurt on every shift he played. Was a beast out there.

    RIP. Way too young!

To live that hard and live to 83 is a testament to that man's will.

His autobiography was a great read...and the cover was designes to look like someone had been snorting lines off it...clever.

Have you read the Malazan series by Canadian Author Steven Player Name ?

I am slowly collecting the series from my second hand book stores, have seven of the ten books.

    Edit

Can't even print an author's name with that players same surname

I have read it all. The first 3 books are top notch fantasy. The next few not as much and then it picks up steam again.
