f**k the central, let’s kill them and light them up once Hellebyck is off
-
Petey hugged Bo on the bench
-
Fiala with a Miller effort back check on that goal against. Petey actually backchecks in his other shifts

This is a big win for us:
1). No points for career Canuck killer Jake Guentzel.
2). Didn't give up another hat-trick to Malkin
3). We are one step closer to Bedard!

I've said this before and I'll say it again:
The Jets got the better of the Pierre Luc Dubois/Patrik Laine trade.
Dubois is only 24, same age as Petey, but PLD is a power forward, and they typically mature later.
He has the size, the hands and the physicality to be dominant.
He will be a star in the league and the centerpiece of the Jet team for many years.
That’s if he stays with the team. Rumour has it that he doesn’t want to stay in Winnipeg and will bolt after his current 1 year contract.

This has the potential to be the new "Burrows, do we really need him?" Though OP is a lot more thoughtful and gives much more effort with his analysis.

For some reason we just suck ass against Eastern Conference teams.

At this point, I'll be happy if they just play hard for a full 60 minutes.
Honestly, this is the key of the season, if we play full 60, we would've had a much different record right now.

Going to the game, first time attending a road game in person, hopefully this give them a spark for the win.

Is Bruce calling a line brawl with the 4th line starting?
There’s a difference. Those goons Hartley started literally had no skill but just career enforcers. Their intent was to jump and pound our top players.

Is Miller just not playing or is he actually injured?
-

Maybe something like this:
To Carolina: Miller + 3rd round pick
To Vancouver: Necas + Scott Morrow + conditional 1st round pick
Not the haul we would like, but I think this will get us a younger forward Necas and a RHD in Bear. The conditional 1st round pick is lottery protected (teams won’t move unprotected 1st round picks anymore).

Man Motte is playing really well.

I hate Ryan Reaves, this goal makes me happy

Too much credit is given to scouts when players develop. This is the most complicated and most important thing the team can do. Hard when having to tailor degree of involvement to the league they are in.
‘Glad to see lots of investment going on here.Exactly. I look at a guy like Ross Colton if another team drafted him and he didn’t get the same development he gets in Tampa, he may not become the player he is today.

This wasn’t Edmonton winning because Edmonton played well, this was Calgary losing because they got away from what won them round 1. They stopped the right checking, tight defence, and methodical play that brought them so much success this year. They played right into Edmontons gameplan of speed and chaos.
More like Markstrom isn’t bailing them out at critical moments

Still dominating the overall, as long as the game is within reach once Hellebuck is off in the second half of this we still have a chance
