i love gauncer dont get me wrong but i mean its not like hes done enough in utica to say he absolutely has to be up with the nucks. its not like hes lit up the scoreboard, its not like hes some killer that has been putting guys in the second row, hes not the best two way forward on utica....so i mean he is doing good but its like hes setting the world on fire down there

That whole boeser being on a stacked team that is why his point totals are so high is a crap comparison. Since hes on a good team they probably roll their lines where as ifbhe was on a crap team hed get more ice time. There's alot of examples that go the other way. You think lee stepniak or travis zajac would put up the points they do if they were on a team like chicago? No theyd get no pp time and be third liners. A ppg as a freshman nevermind the team he plays for is an accomplishment all on its own and we should be happy he got drsfted by us

Everypne in this town whined and cried till they were blue in the face about how we never drafted local guys. Omg why didn't we take him howd we let him go. If we wouldnhave took ehlers for example id bet most people would be crying i cant believe we didnt draft jake. Look at him in carolina hitting everyone. Who cares if hes not scoring we need a guy like that we dont have any tough prospects, remember how calgary ran us out of the building wah wah wah i can't believe ee didn't take a local kid who was ranked 6th and we drafted 6th. Lets give the kid a chance. Who cares if he's not putting up points. Let him develop and just hope he gets slme confidence and cuts down the turnovers. He's sitting in the press box every know and then after bad games. I think its good for him and will help him in the long run
