This has been a huge concern of mine from day one. Hoping against hope that this virus would be contained and brought under control as best it could as quickly as it could... and not ever turn out to be what it has become. But here we are.... In a perfect world where I were Queen and omnipotent....I'd have quarantined the entire country and instituted the strictest of infectious disease protocols for everyone. But alas, I am not and the learning curve of COVID-19 has been a deadly one. I don't believe for one second that we are even remotely close to being on top of COVID-19 and won't be for some time. I hate being right about my suspicions about this virus but my worst fears about it have all come to pass thus far. Tis a difficult day of quarantine at Chez Cerridwen despite the sunshine and blue sky....

The question that was asked WAS black and white and all it required was a yes or a no.

He asked a yes or no question....she refused to answer it.A direct question "Did so and so see the brief? Yes or no?" And what he got back was a garbled double speak response that did not answer the question.

She didn't have any answers..she was using double-speak to avoid answering the yes or no question she was asked. Plain and simple.

Wow..... now there drops some of the respect I had for her......the consummate politician with choosing her words carefully to frame a non-answer. Colour me disgusted.

Mine's been closed here for 36 days now. I thought all yours had been closed, too. Gyms....a perfect incubator...all those surfaces. What were they thinking leaving them open or leaving it up to the owner/operators?

To say I'm pleasantly surprised by Ford's stepping up to the plate is an understatement... I have family in Ontario who were appalled when he was elected and had nicknamed him Trump V2.0 but the differences have been night and day. Ford has revealed a portion of his character that I would never have believed existed prior to Covid-19's emergence.

He always needs a scapegoat because God forbid he ever accepts an iota, a smidge, a pinch, of responsibility. Hasn't he pretty much scapegoated EVERYONE? *imagining laser dots again*

While sheltering beneath my Gravol-infused weighted blanket having mainlined a double shot of Gravol in order to view this $&!# show of a briefing, I had an attention-wandering light bulb moment while observing the corpulent porcine presence draping it's microbes all over the podium.. His Porkyness's propensity for fast food is all very well calculated.....He continues to eat junk food and get more obese ON PURPOSE because the bigger his ass gets, the more room there is for lips to be planted there.
