    Watching the Sabres.  They have some great young stars but their stands are half empty.  Kind of sad.

      Snd it’s like the Sabres young skilled core guys get to play half assed defensively and the coach says nothing.  That’s got to breed contempt within the support players, when they see the big dollar guys always taking the easy (and soft) way instead of putting the team first and winning.

      Hard to motivate guys to backcheck when their D doesn't seem to care if they are playing defense at an NHL standard.  Same problem as the Leafs.  Lazy forwards, pylons on the blueline.

      yeah strange

      i guess their place in the standings confused me

       

      here i thought the sabres believed they still had an outside shot at the playoffs

      when really that is a belief held by the sens players
