the main difference i think alf

is that most garbage plastic bag options

are plastic bags that break down (decompose)

that is not what grocery bags are designed to do

so multi purpose hope is misguided

that is why plastic grocery/liquor bags are being eliminated

but full disclosure

i use grocery/liquor bags for garbage myself

always have

I like to just buy my liquor bottles one at a time... drink each bottle  out front of the  liquor store....

So much easier that way......
