It's happened. Players put a name in a hat, it's tallied and sometimes it's not who you think. Who Captained the greatest Boston team ever? Was it Orr? One of the greatest ever. Or Espo? Also one of the best ever. No.
Yeah but I’m talking about the present day.

I stopped reading when they had PDG on the second line with Miller and Boeser, and Hogs on the 4th line with Podz scratched.

Let the players vote on it at the end of camp.
I agree with this. Let the players decide who they feel leads this team.
This is how it should be done. Not used as a marketing ploy, or as an incentive for players to stay or sign long-term contracts.

Not that Blueger is particularly big himself. Another left handed forward too. Cause right handed players are a blight on society and who needs em. With Pearson supposedly coming back. Gonna be really hard for Hogs and Podz to really find a footing on the roster.
Kuz - Petey - Mik
Beau - Miller - Boeser
Blueger - Suter - Garland
Joshua - Aman - ?
That leaves Studnicka, Hoglander, PDG, Podkolzin and Pearson. And Dries I guess. But meh. Does Blueger go to 4C and move Aman out?You seem down.
Does Jeremy need a Cuddle?

Are you blaming Lucic for his quote? That was the original question to Roger as well.
Didn’t seem like so much of a question as you putting words in my mouth and adding a question mark. I’ve been around these boards for a long time in one iteration or another, and I’ve learned who I can have a discussion with and who just wants to argue. From your comments in this thread I’d say it’s the latter. You have yourself a good day now.

Sorry, you think that people that vandalized his grandparents'house were in the right? Or people that spray painted his church? Or the guy that was trying to pick a fight with him?
I was going to waste my time writing out a reply and then I realized the perfect response was already right below yours.

We dont know who or what started the fight and I didn't see Looch walking away. No matter how tough you are, dont fight on Granville. Too many variables and it is never an even scrap. I worked in Nighclubs there for 15 years and have seen hundreds of knocked out bodies. It can be a sad scene.
He shouldn't have condemned the entire city and it's people though. He should have been aware that he is a terror on the ice and played for one of our hockey teams main enemies. Maybe the worst enemy. The one that raised the grail, on our ice, after a controversial and dirty series.
There is a reason some dont want him here.
The best one is that he is passed his prime and would take up a roster spot. We can find toughness somewhere else.

Why would he prefer to play in the KHL instead of the NHL? Tocchet has expectations, so he's giving up? I can't see him coming back to the Canucks if he leaves.
Too lazy to put in the time and the work to make it here. Reminds me of another Russian that left the Canucks for the KHL.

Are you f***ing kidding me….
Quote“The lottery balls numbered 4, 5, 9 and 13 were drawn from the league’s machine. Per this NHL Draft Lottery online pamphlet, that combination belonged to the Blackhawks.
But … if the ball marked with the number 12 came up instead of the one with 13, the Canucks would’ve won the lottery.
The North Vancouver kid would’ve become the first No. 1 pick in Canucks history.

[Report] Canucks name Quinn Hughes as captain
in Canucks Talk
Posted
Congratulations to Quinn Hughes who has really stepped up into that leadership role this last season. Unlike some others on the various social medias, I don’t take this as a sign that Petey has one foot out the door. He said he didn’t know if he wanted to be Captain, and that’s fine. Not everyone wants that responsibility.
I also just want to say kudos to the marketing team for including every Canucks Captain in the background of this graphic EXCEPT for that POS Messier.
Well done.
