Yup your pretty correct there, I think if we go 9-9 we would get in but we should play better then that and hopefully get a division seed. Home ice I think really helps our young guys like EP and QH as they can get more favourable matchups. Like you’ve said we haven’t been a good road team all year but we always seem to come out of it in the end. Hope we play well tomorrow in Colombus and then be ready for the home game against Arizona.

It’s so hard to figure out how things will shake out. Every team in the pacific seems to have issues at any given time. I think the only sure bet is Vegas and I think they definitely win the division hands down. I hope we play well in our divisional matchups the rest of the season and get one of the division seeds.

It sucks that we lost back to back winnable games but everybody does need to relax as we’re still in a decent position. Hopefully we can get a win tomorrow and make this a 500 road trip and once we get home we should be able to put some wins together again. The league is pretty competitive and just about every team is going to go through these we little lulls especially on cross country road trips. Pittsburgh dropped one to Anaheim and is about to do the same against San Jose. Will get back on track.

Great game by Demmer tonight. I’m not the least bit concerned about Markys injury. Demko is more then capable.. his numbers are just a tick below Marky and actually has a better win loss record in games he’s played. Demmer has played enough professional hockey that he can carry the load for 3-4 weeks. I just want Marky healthy for playoffs.

[Speculation] Canucks interested in Tyson Barrie
High and Inside replied to brian42's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Let’s not waste our time with Barrie. We don’t need a PP specialist defenceman and that’s about all he’s good for. If Kyle Dubas calls it’s no thanks! -
[PGT] Boston Bruins at Vancouver Canucks | Feb. 22, 2020

I really hope we keep Stetch for the remainder of the season. A heart and soul player and he showed tonight that he really wants to be here. I think it’s fair to let this group go into the playoffs together. I’ve met the guy personally and I know his love for Vancouver. Lot of respect for him. -

Matt Grzelcyk with another dirty hit. Hit Reider late and injured him. That guy doesn’t learn and needs to be suspended. -

We need to pickup a D men. We were pretty good with Oscar in the lineup. Benn is totally lost. First goal was on him tonight. -

They are actually playing pretty good. The second goal by the Wild was pretty flukey -
This! I totally agree man. Who wants to be like the Oilers for the next 10 years. After 4 years out I want in the playoffs end of story. After this deal is done we have lots of prospects left. Madden is a tiny center that has no guarantees of turning into anything. Look at Johnny Hockey great college player that scores a lot in the regular season and come playoff time is invisible. Our forward group now would grind that flames team into smitherines.

I would argue the window to win is open as one team in the wide open pacific division will likely make the final 4. Plus after 4 years out of the playoffs I just want this team to get in so we can watch playoff hockey. Plus we got at least 3 other good forward prospects. There is no way Pod Hog Lind and Madden could all be on this team so someone had to be moved and today the opportunity was there to make the team better. I also think there is the opportunity to resign Toffoli to a reasonable cap number going forward. We need to move some of the bottom 6 out though.
