    yaa  4 more feet of laminant flooring to go and then the pellet stove goes in on Monday (ya I know laminant ,comprimized ) but at 1.60 a sq ft  and a decent price on the stove  b.c hydro ,and p.n.g. can shove their bills.    heating should be around 100 a month now vs 500.

      .Nice move! I put in a heat pump a few years ago and save a wad of dough compared to my old oil system.... in Victoria mind you

       

      Hydro did do that whole tier 2 billing bs last year, and costs went up a bit. But Hydro is costing about $40 a month more (through the winter) than it did before the heat pump. Saving about $100 mo compared to the oil furnace

      i put laminant floors down in my old place i liked them. i couldn't afford hard wood flooring.
