Chernobyl 9/10 for a new series I liked the first episode. If this is anything like how this was at the time wow . Great start, has definitely drawn me into the story and hope it continues. Shows like this I wish I would be able to binge watch.

Are farmed salmon that have escape there pens on the island not also a big problem with the reduction of returning salmon, Aren’t most farmed salmon hardier and outcompete most native stock? Growing up on the coast before all the studies and farmed fish was just starting out I know that thousands escaped yearly and was considered just a cost of business. This is just a question that comes to mind as I read the thread -
Fighting with my Family 2/10 Not terrible but not as advertised. First the Rock is in the movie for all of two minutes. So don’t be fooled into thinking it’s one of his movies. Second the funny bits are all pretty much in the previews. That being said there are still a couple one liners not spoiled. Now I may be bias because going in I was expecting a gut busting comedy and what I got was a so so drama.

A Simple Favor 7/10 Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively in a bit of a mystery/ crime drama. You can pretty much see the end coming pretty early on in the movie but not bad for light afternoon entertainment

Serenity 2019 Drama /mystery/ sci-fi 6/10 a little slow paced but interesting enough to keep you going. Good poor weather afternoon waster lol. Good cast with Matthew McConaughey and Anna Hathaway etc Rated it low because with the bigger named stars in it you would expect it to be more than a B rate movie

The leftovers Ep 2 6/10 more questions an answers in this episode. Still has me hooked though. Still finding it slow but I can see some other the characters beginning to get better .. On to Episode three

The Leftovers Ep 1/Pilot 6/10 I started watching because of the high reviews here. The show is interesting and as stated, different however I found it a little confusing or maybe I missed something. The cult members why are they all smoking? Other than a little confusing I found it a little slow paced, it’s good but it will have to definitely get a lot better to be as good as Breaking Bad.

McMafia 9/10 Terrible name but actually a very good show. Characters are interesting, I ended up binge watching the entire 8 episode first season and look forward to season two.

Discovery of Witches 8/10 Entertaining for another witch, vampire, etc type tv show. The characters were pretty good, sometimes there was to much of a love story feel but not enough to sour me completely. Good enough that I checked to see if there was going to be a second season, there is, so we’ll see where it goes from here.

The Darkest Minds 4/10 movie had a lot of potential for easy entertainment. Normal everyday movie, kids have powers, good verse bad, etc etc. I could see it as a tv pilot for series but the superpower kids genre is pretty saturated right now.

What men want 5/10 It was what you would expect from a remake. It had a couple laughs, got a little preachy near the end and finished weak and as expected. Overall it was ok, better than watching a rerun of daytime tv.

Cold Pursuit 4/10 slow lacklustre movie. None of the characters are very well developed, could much have been better.

The house that Jack Built. 1/10 I did not like it at all, ended up watching it all only because I kept thinking it had to get better. It definitely did not
