Tonight's roster has 8 forwards who were not here or regulars last season. Looks like they are overthinking instead of just going hard at every battle. preseason-esque. -

Stillman is 24 yrs old and most D-men hit their top form 25-27ish. We have tried at least a dozen reclaimation projects like this in the last 6 years. You would think at least one would pan out in some form.

I wish the team would use the ten game conditioning stint in Abby to get guys like Boeser a chance to regain health and confidence. If it's a pride consideration thing I think the team view should be first priority.

I liked Crow early to mid coaching career but near the end he was a bridge burning screamer style of coach. I don't know if he could recapture his early mojo.

I still suspect Boeser is battling chronic injuries to his wrist and back. That nasty crash into the open bench gate might never heal 100%.

I agree on the D corps but scoring forwards are usually in demand closer to the deadline for playoff teams.

Now that we have a fourth line that can keep up it frees the others for a variety of line matching as well.

Before Petey and Miller came in Bo faced the top shutdown units a lot so I see BB's lines laid out to spread out the offence and expose their bottom 4 D men.

I love Burroughs grit but his speed is only slightly above average so the pk spot goes to the fleet of foot against the Leafs.
