    So does simashev and in a vastly superior league in the khl. After having seen him play lots, you are looking at a 4 year window to fix him where he is ready. If you are gonna get, then trade down to 23 and pick up an extra asset.

    I doubt there would be an overdraft. I just have a feeling that dragicevic and reinbacher are dropping to the early second like chesly did last year.

    Good thing you will notice is his stick. When he uses it on the checking side, he is extremely talented. He does shy away from the physical game and his puck retrieval down low in his zone leaves something to be desired.

    Been watching kloten myself. Yeah the offense is nice, but he does need a ton of work on his gap control. Scary thing for me is his side is a dead ringer for his brother Tobias and that is what stopped him at the next lvl. The offense and his shot too are kind of giving me alarm bells.

    Not that I am not high on him. He needs alot of work on his gap control and positioning much like bahl and doesnt really deserve his first round grade. Early second round then yeah. With these two picks right now, we should be focusing in on a crazy forward class. Dmen that I would be focusing on are simashev and minnetian with later picks.

    Would take Ritchie at 15. Danielson is a good player, but I can't see the nucks taking him. Just see him as a fourth line center.

    In this draft and where our second first is atm, I don't think we should be drafting pelinka- sandin or reinbacher in the first with our second pick. I think they are being overvalued too much based on the world juniors. I think we need to take the best two forwards that are available at our picks and focus on defensemen in the second round where we can find some outstanding value.

    Take Peterson as the cap dump to fill the net and then get an asset

    That's the problem. We are trying to draft based off of need and coaching strategy I.e. the Babcock. Most coaches now are dealing better with the offhand then they did back in the day. If you want to look at an rhd that we should, look at minnetian.

    I think he likes it. He has to adjust alot more us he can't leak like he did in car and in Pittsburgh.

    They are. Bob's list is media driven and is by a concensus of ten scouts he trusts. Also have you watched both play? Reinbacher has alot of the same problems his brother Tobias has. His skating needs alot of work and dragicevic has been somewhat underwhelming overall in his play this season. He either needs a big playoffs or a hell of a tourney in the u18s to pump his stock past gulyayev to 13.

    Still to high for reinbacher and dragicevic unless we trade down and pick extra picks. Picking up Barlow or wood would be excellent to with our second pick

    I don't think we will get ostlund back per se, but I can see johnson and a good draft pick for sure if we deal with the sabres.

    Yeah it can, and I would caution it. But, let's say we get a stop gap like Peterson and a huge asset, then I would be down for it.

    Reibacher would be too high at 13. If you want him then the team would have to drop down a few spots.

    Well. Steelers and Pitt football are number one there. Give them time. They are slowly getting it and are shocked and kind of pumped on the questions they are getting.

    Agreed. Him and simashev should be up there. As for the pick I rather have next year's cuz the isles roster looks like it is gonna age out badly and I really like drafts like 2024 and 2017. They surprise more often then not.

    Not sure if I like both those guys. Would rather let the isles pick slide and maybe use a second or later picks on guys like minnetian.

    Good list, but Hage is gonna be on that list by the end of the year.

    Well, with the canes deal, there was no way in hell that they were gonna offer morrow in any package. Best you might have gotten was nikishin.
