Let me see , Huge Orca at center ice, Orca on uniform, Orca mascot, Orca bay corporation. To me they are the Vancouver Orca Hockey club. I don’t see it your way.

In my opinion by going with the Orca logo the team should be called the Vancouver Orcas and that’s what I call them now.

I just searched myself, I couldn’t find the old thread either. I know that it existed because I commented in the old thread on this very subject. Oh well, never mind. Doesn’t hurt I guess if the other one was deleted.

Jim Benning compared him to Brian Leetch the way he skates, moves the puck and walks the line. I would be very happy if he had that ability. I’m excited to see what he can do. However, So much pressure is being put on him though in this market. I hope he fully understands what he is getting himself into here.

My guess that Quinn’s first game is next week in Dallas. That’s where he was drafted, that’s where his mother was raised. He also needs time to practice with the team and heal his bruised foot.

Not according to what I read. When Jim Benning calls the Utica Coach he doesn't ask... how many points is a player getting. He asks "is the player playing the right way" In other words his overall game. Is he playing defence also.

This Johnny Canuck version is the best I have seen so far. I would be very happy if the Canucks had this on the front their new uniforms.

Jim Bennings interview at the draft last year after he got Quinn Hughes is priceless. “Over the moon” were his words. I hope he becomes the number one defenceman we’ve been waiting for. I’m looking forward to see what he can do at the nhl level. I was in Brooklyn for the Canucks and islanders in November. What stood out to me was how good Matthew Barzal is, his skating and hockey I.Q., is amazing. He is a fantastic player to watch. I hope Quinn Hughes can do the same or better.
