After the Bo Slight towards Canucks fans it got me thinking about his time here and his captaincy. What keeps coming back to me is lite mayonnaise. He had a weird way about himself, he always talked to media and did that part but it was always just canned answers about trying to be better yada yada. How about standing up for your teammates when they are getting pummelled or running our goalie. He did stuff and things but it just felt like there was a little something missing. Mayonnaise is great and essential for constructing a successful sandwich. When mom buys the lite stuff by accident you get through the jar as lite mayonnaise will do but Hellman lets get real. This is like my kids soccer game today in the frozen rain. No one is having fun and can’t wait for it to be over.

I can’t believe I had hope this year. This group is so depressing. It’s really pathetic the effort level.

Gene was a beauty, “Canada’s greatest athlete”!. He owned a bar in point Roberts call Kininski’s reef that is still there. He would hang around the bar often, such a character. RIP

Stoked for the new movie “Iron claw” about wrestler Von Erich and the family. It’s gonna be wild stuff.

Found this in an old box in the basement today, my dad went to a game in this short lived series. Brings back playoff memories, I’ll be hanging around waiting patiently for the Playoffs one of these years with my towel neatly folded in the linen closet. What cool Canuck treasures do you have kicking around?
