Ok here is a great example of how sports fandom works. "Hating" and "Loving" teams and players are all hyperbolized statements that are infused in the genetic make up of being a fan of professional sports. Some don't realize they are doing it, but most do. It's more fun to "hate" another team, and take their loss as "the greatest moment ever" than it is to be level headed and calm about things beacuse...I mean shoot...that's not what sports is about.
Those fans boo the crap out of Robinson Cano until suddenly he is actually right there...then the stupid mob sports fan mentality goes right out the window and the reality of respect for an athelete is there.
