  1. ^ I have a few, but I always liked the Rock Bottom, the Last Ride, the Jacknife Powerbomb, and the Razor's Edge. Oh and also the sharpshooter AND the perfectplex GAAH i just love too many.
  2. Newest Star Trek 6.5/10 Some cool scenes. Some GREAT cheezy lines that were so terrible they became great. Story felt rushed though.
  3. ooo ooo ! i know it but ill let someone else guess that guy was a DISAPPOINTMENT
  4. She definitely looks like she's got a bit of a cheeky smile there like she knew the fan liked it.
  5. I don't think it's supposed to be shocking necessarily...just good old down home southern Cajun creepiness
  6. Welcome to the organization!!! Get ready to be torn apart on the internet for a while
  7. I'll never tire of watching Bettman battle through the boos to thank the crowd for being so "welcoming" If you can't say anything nice, at least you can say he's a trooper!
  8. X Men Days of Future Past - 8/10 Surprised myself with how much I liked this one. It was dark and violent in the way that X Men is supposed to be. Would have given 9/10 if they hadn't taken such ridiculous liberties with the design of the Sentinels, especially the 1970s ones that look liked Dysun Vacuums
  9. Elliotte Friedman on the hiring (from his "30 thoughts" segment): http://www.cbc.ca/sports-content/hockey/opinion/2014/06/30-thoughts-nhl-free-agents-reluctant-to-commit-early.html
  10. Also of note, he says that Doug Lidster is coming to Vancouver with Desjardins
  11. Big difference between the Rangers and the Kings. The Rangers are in a tough spot, and they are "bummed out" ... they have given up. The Kings were down 3-0 in round 1 - sure, it was just round 1, not the SCF - but they never looked like they were out. No quit. Good teams like Boston, LA, Chicago, etc etc, never quit, and they don't get desparate like the Canadiens did in game 7 against NYR. Good teams just keep doing what works until they claw their way back. Maybe NY can capture some magic, but it sure looks like they have quit.
  12. I appreciated reading this post a lot, I think it is a fair assessment of Vingeault's weaknesses as a coach, and I don't think any coach is without weaknesses. Good coach, but some limitations. We're seeing it again here. Good when the going is good, not necessarily a guy who can turn things around with subtle strategic moves.
  13. Gary Mason was on Team1040 today and said that it is a very strong rumor from an NHL scout that Benning is going to try very hard to trade up and draft this kid.
  14. I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall for the discussions between Benning and the scouts on who to draft, especially in the first round. Super curious on how that conversation will go, and how different the opinions might be, if a huge divide may be exposed early, or if they will be on similar pages about who to draft.
  15. Habs win in overtime 3-2. Back to MSG for game 6 where it's all gonna come down to a lucky bounce for........WHO KNOWS
  16. He's going to pick the players at any given pick that he thinks is going to become the best asset for his hockey team. I don't think it needs to be any more complicated or complex than that. Size, playing style, ability, grittiness, personality...all are factors, of course. But one determinant factor? Doubtful.
