Ahhh kuttner is still writing lazy hit pieces, but no mention of his negotiations with the local 233 laborers union, or the actual number of jacobs campaign contribution which is 13 grand atleast.  You could atleast mention his dealings  with Delaware north that might lead to some saying he is compromised.

You've got to be pretty lazy to use the word "lazy" when refuting a source. Ironically, Walsh's donations were quite an open secret. The dude even f**king thanked the Jacobs family for their support. Lmfao.

    Here's more proof.

... its a truth that's argued by many people.. perhaps you are in a echo chamber... your views does not define how the fact that this PC culture of being offended by everything is getting less and less popular by the minute... just remember that for every action their is a reaction. you may not have just noticed yet but "woke" culture is dying.. every day that the claims get more and more ridiculous someone joins the anti "woke" culture...

And yes its ridiculous to call this man homophobic for using the term... we can all agree he has anger issues... but that's not what the story said it said he was a homophobe

and for the people you hang out with does it ever contain any laughter? wordplay and slight teasing whether its against oneself or others has always been a top echelon way of getting a laugh... if its immature to poke fun at someone i guess im guilty of being immature

and i will let you know i never have been warned for any of my messages regarding these so called topics you say i got shut down... maybe it was shutdown for other reasons?

Well, if we are going to generalize, a lot of people on the right say there is fascism and a violation of the freedom of speech. What do you say about that?

i wan to do a thought experiment with you...

the left argues that their is countless genders and anyone that feels they have been mislabeled by nature they can rebrand their gender...

they also argue that sexual organs do not define gender, that any gender can have one and/or multiple sexual organs...

if any gender can have a cock how can it be considered homophobic to call someone a ****sucker?

what is more likely and generally acknowlodged by the term with the world population that the natural male sex organ is dirty and gross.... and the reason we still use it a slur for a stupid person is because many think it would be gross and stupid to perform said act... hence why the term stupid, gross and idiot are often used before it to show emphasis...

like i said it hasnt been used as a homophobic slur for a long time... and in fact some small groups that include many different sexual orientations use it a term of endearment...

I have had people call me  a ****sucker in a light spirited way along with laughter in response to a roast i have just given them.... and that in terms of cursewords this is a very tame one...

still I agree that crawford shouldnt have used the term in a work situation in a demeaning manner that he obviously intended... I just don't think it was homophobic at all...

Why does it have to be about political left or right? It's not about that at all. Furthermore, by summarizing people in spectrums, you run into situations where people on the left could very much agree with you, but you'll assume they'll hold the same notions because YOU put them there.

Not sure why there's so much care and passion in training, surely these guys know it's over. They should just treat the rest of the season as an extended training camp. Of course they're frustrated but take it out on other teams defencemen when you're forechecking, not each other.

You hear this sort of thing happen to top teams who are super competitive or teams who should be in the playoffs but are just on the outside looking in (eg. Calgary), but never bottom feeders.

That's because the players actually care about how they feel about this. None of them feel good that they're at the bottom.

It doesn't surprise me to see such "knee jerk' reactions here on CDC when someone on this team has a bad shift or a bad game or if the team has a bad game.

Since Tocchet came on board, the objective is not to win games or be better then BB at all.

He came here to change a deeply entrenched style of play which has been passed down from one player to another for years.

Its not rocket science to see that they occasionally take games or shifts off and they get lazy and don't finish checks or stay in positions.

Nobody on this team seems too upset when we lose(except for Miller), and that pretty much goes for every player on this team.

This is a problem! Where is that desire to win at all costs and the desire to someday win a Cup.

There are some obvious culprits but some of them are next to impossible to move. We won't see significant changes until the culprits are gone and the Core can start to make this their team. Wouldn't hurt to have an NHL caliber goalie in net either.

There is no hurry to win, we just need to exercise a little patience and see how this whole thing plays out.

We won't even know what the team will look like until the trade deadline and the draft pass anyway. Relax.

Actually, a coach's objective IS to win games. He has no bearing on the team's tank status.

We're playing as badly as any team in the league. We can do this!

I really don't want to see many more 6-1 blowouts though. Keep it competitive and keep morale up. The team can't look like they've completely given up. They need to lose because they are not good enough, not because they are not trying.

I doubt that the players have given up. However, we really aren't good enough. Not even close.

There's no days off and running away from problems under Tocchet.

I like that he hasn't given them time off.  This team is too soft.

Whether this does anything is still under question. This is a meaningless season. That being said, I do like Tocchet more than I thought. I'd like to see him be given one full season at least.

I will never understand very well paid NHL players

These guys were to shorten their shifts, yet each time they change it looks like new peewee family skates to the bench

Marathon runners run hard to the end, Rec players I play with put way more effort in doing it for free

In a game of inches and secs those slow motion skates back cost a offensive strike or defensive positioning

Bring in some ECL players or players with desire to win

I don't want them to win in a lost cause season, but this lackadaisical effort always irks me

They're human, but you can see that the players still try to do their best, which is sometimes not very impressive. Quinn chasing after his brother Jack that was on a breakaway is one such example.

I was at the game all those years ago when Mikey D was thrown to the wolves in his first ever NHL game and slaughtered by the Sharks. It was truely hard to watch. I sincerely hope they don't throw another goaltender in over his head..

At the time, too, the Sharks were the top team of the league. It was the worst matchup that a team could get. Benning afterwards decided that this situation would never happen again - and it didn't.

The problem was that Dipietro never really took off as a goaltender. It happens, unfortunately. A decent WJC championship doesn't necessarily make a player.

How has "focusing" on them helped?  It hasn't - it's still the same.

Not focusing is NOT the same as discriminating.  Come on man.

Are you serious? That's your response for why we shouldn't focus on race? I feel there's no point in trying to convince you because you're incapable of changing your mind.

I actually hate race politics a lot because I find that the discussion points are overly simplistic. Yet there's something very wrong about having society not focus on race. Race is very much part of this, but it's not the only factor either. There's classism and other kinds of discrimination. We have to raise awareness so we don't exclude people.

It's such a simple concept that you're not even able to comprehend.

How can I put this so it doesn't offend anyone?

    Right, that's impossible...

Look, it's simple.  Hockey is for everyone should not mean wearing a Pride jersey.   "Pride" is only part of "Everyone".

Pride lives in a glass house and they shouldn't throw stones.
What do I mean by that?  They want everyone else to be "inclusive" yet they don't allow inclusivity in their own events.

    Just because I drive a 2010 F150 with a 5.4 liter engine doesn't mean I don't support Green energy.

Just because I don't wear a "Pride" shirt doesn't mean I am against LGBT...

Just because I don't wear a Leafs jersey doesn't mean I hate the Leafs...

As long as we (human race) keeps putting people into siloed groups, the longer it will take for us to truly be one.

Stop focusing on race, colour, creed, religion, etc...that's the problem!  (and the media plays it up)

(BTW - Hockey is NOT for everyone - not everyone can afford it).

What a ridiculous suggestion. In the past, these groups have been continually muted or discriminated against. Not focusing on race, etc etc, doesn't work. Society has tried it for the past 100 years or more.

your being unfair painting me as a villain... I do not support homophobia... ever... i also support all unions of every person...

You argue with dishonesty which seems to be typical of the left...

id also state that you have no response to any of my messages... just calling me a defender of bigots and calling me stupid... this is work of a man that cant offer anything of value to the discussion

"Typical of the left" - why did you have to introduce politics into this?
