If he is indeed qualified (can we confirm?) COL retracts the offer. No interest in offer sheets. Though a bit disappointed we don't get to add him
Confirmed that he was qualified by Chicago.

If the NHL is projecting a salary cap in 2024/25 in the area of $ 88 million how would that affect the GML cap limit in the 24/25 season.
Does GML's cap number go up as much as the NHL by approximately $ 5.5 million or?
Thanks
NHL cap + 6.25% (rounded up or down to reasonably round number) = GML cap.
If we can add another GM and bring back the Ducks or Isles, that boost drops to 3%, and if we can add both, then NHL cap = GML cap.

Guess thats likely to fluctuate anyway as year to year people's lives change and their ability/desire to invest time changes. Was more curious about the gameplan but we'll make it work when the time comes
If someone applies at some point during the season, we would take the necessary steps to speak with them and if they were wanting in, they'd have a chance to join as an AGM somewhere if they'd prefer to get a feel for the game while preparing to take their own team for the following season, or something to that effect.
It really depends on the timeline and when we find someone.
If the Canucks could turn things around, that would really help. When the Canucks are good, CDC is busier, and we have more people coming that may be interested. Having them be a dumpster fire really hurts our GM recruitment lol

Just bumping this as other roster moves since have been made.
Players need to be listed as on the Injured Reserve list in order to be placed there. I have looked around and I haven't seen a source that lists him there yet.
I can move him to the minors for you if you'd like

Thank you sir. Are you able to do updates to the Training camp page. Like our own depth chart? I have a lot of centers that play wing and would give me a better visual of our camp. if not that’s ok just thought I’d ask
Yes you can post updates to the Training Camp page and I will adjust accordingly, but it's meant to be separate from the Roster lineup. I'll be working on verifying and updating players positions throughout the summer as well, and for depth chart purposes players are meant to stay in the row their official position is listed at. This is also helpful for free agents to see where they might fit into your roster and how much depth a team has at a certain position.

CBA REVISION
CBA Section 5.5 - Training Camp has been revised. Changes are in bold.
Quote5.5 - Training Camp
There is a Training Camp/Depth Chart tab on all team charts. Beginning September 15th, GML Training Camp will officially begin. Waivers will be in place beginning on this date and players who require waivers will need to clear in order to be assigned to the minors for the start of the season. All players will need to be assigned to their designated rosters from that point forward regardless of where they are listed on your Rosters page. Players assigned to the active roster will be listed on this tab in bold type, players assigned to junior or the minors will be listed in italics.- 1

As was discussed in the thread
Anthony Beauvillier is a free agent.
He is wrongly listed as an RFA on Detroits list.
I've corrected the team chart and also have updated Matthew Phillips contract.
Not sure who has edit access for the Free Agent List but it's not me.

PENDING ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Hey guys, I am getting ready for work, so I don't have enough time left for an official CBA revision at the moment. There will be one forthcoming when I can clean up the language, implement it into the CBA and add to team charts, but in the meantime I wanted to give everyone a heads up on how this will work.
We will be further revising and refining the Training Camp section that was added to CBA when the thread opened.
Training Camp revisions.
Teams will all have a Depth Chart/Training camp page added to their sheets. These will contain every signed contract the team has on their books and can be adjusted independently of the teams roster lineup. Players shaded red require waivers in order to be assigned to the minors. Players shaded green do not require waivers as of the last update in order to be assigned to the minors, and players shaded blue are eligible to be assigned to junior up to and including October 9th, 2024. There is an example of this on Winnipeg's team chart.
Rather than place every player listed in the minors on waivers as originally posted, teams will be expected to assign their players either to the roster or to the minors during training camp. Waivers will be in effect as posted before on September 15th and players who are assigned to the minors will still have to pass through waivers. So essentially we achieve the same goal, but give people time to assess their rosters during NHL training camp as some had suggested, and teams have control over which of their players go on waivers and when. All players will have to be given a designation after waivers are in effect in order to be properly assigned. On the depth chart, players assigned to the active roster will be in Bold, and players assigned to the minors will be listed in italics.

@canuck2xtreme could we get a list of the last 4 lottery winners just to be clear who this affects?
For these purposes, we are only starting with this year's draft lottery because it JUST happened. So teams who won draft lotteries in 2022 and earlier won't be effected.
Montreal's already used his two bullets though. Sorry @snowflake

CBA REVISION
CBA Article 6 - Entry Draft has been revised. Changes are in bold.
Quote6.1 – Entry Draft Guidelines
The 2024 GML Entry Draft is scheduled for June 22nd 2024 beginning at 1:00pm Pacific time (subject to change).
Teams will have one draft pick for each of the first four rounds. At the conclusion of the playoffs, we will conduct a draft lottery that mirrors that of the NHL, and the rest of the draft order will be determined by regular season standings. Our League will select from the same pool of draft eligible players that the NHL clubs will select from. Players can then be signed (or released) and placed into a teams minor league system. Unsigned prospects will return to the entry draft after 2 years if they remain unsigned. Players from previous draft years who went undrafted in the CDCGML are eligible to be selected provided they are 20 years of age or younger.
6.2 – Draft Lottery Guidelines
The draft lottery will occur in two phases.
Phase One will take place directly after the regular season has ended. The 14 teams that miss the playoffs will be eligible to enter the draft lottery. Teams eligible for the draft lottery will be entered into a randomized number generator with equal odds, giving each team a number from 1 to 14.
Phase Two will take place directly alongside the NHL draft lottery. The number that teams received in Stage One will link them to NHL teams in the NHL Draft Lottery. (eg. - The team who received number 1 in Stage One will be linked to the NHL team with the highest odds to win the draft lottery, number 2 linked to the team with the 2nd highest odds, and so on.) The team that wins the draft lottery will have that draft selection move up a maximum of 10 places. If a team has traded their draft pick, the team that holds the draft pick will be entered into the draft lottery in the corresponding position as the original team. Draft lottery results impact the draft order for the first round only. All subsequent rounds will be determined solely by the CDCGML Regular Season Standings. Teams can only win the draft lottery a maximum of twice in a 5 year span. (For these purposes, a team in possession of a winning draft pick is considered to have won the lottery regardless of which team the pick originally belonged to. If a team has already won twice in a 5 year span and wins again with the 5 year span, the draft pick will not move for that lottery win and the GML Draft order will not be altered.
