    I'm not claiming to be an expert at hockey, only been watching and playing for nearly fifty years, but certainly starting to think "style of play" is part of the problem. Defence first wins games, but Torts systems seem to be part of the problem. Is it a matter of players still getting used to his systems or ??? As has been stated by other posters, a better PP would go a long way.

    So now we're posting "itches" as a source for rumours. I guess the Canucks are going to lose some upcoming trades because my butt is itchy.

    Pissed at the "simulcast" commercials, when the game is a runaway, the SB commercials are more entertaining than the game. So tired of watching a US station and getting CTV show commercials every second now with Canadian Tire ads Congrats to the Seahawks for a very convincing win

    Specifically referring to the "penalties" associated with the front-loaded, long term contracts. These were contracts approved by the league, and then teams get punished retroactively for presumed circumvention of the cap. I seriously doubt many fans expected that degree of pettiness from Bettman.

    Not defending MG per se, but I doubt many fans saw the devastating claw back that Count Chocula's cap world has affected possible future plans for the Canucks.

    The Oilers will be a good team, but will have a heck of a time fitting in all those 1st overall picks once the level entry contracts expire. No realistic way they keep this group intact for very long.
