  1. Are the AFC matchups set yet? Patriots vs. Bengals Ravens vs. Colts ??
  2. And Peterson at 91 yards. Needs 117 yards for the record I believe. Doable.
  3. Coach's can't challenge inside 2 minutes. That has to come from the booth. It was close, but the right call was made. he had the ball in his right hand while he was leading with his left shoulder.
  4. Rams defence has come to play today. Too bad the offence has sputtered, giving up bad field position all game.
  5. The Packers have been so hit and miss this year, hard to see them doing much damage in the playoffs.
  6. Holy crap! AP up to 70 yards already, and the 1st Q isn't over yet. Vikings lead 10-0.
  7. The Rams could hold the Seahawks scoreless in a quarter for the first time since the 3rd quarter against the Bears. That was 13 quarters and 1 OT period ago.
  8. Love the cockiness by you guys. Not saying the Rams are gonna win. But they are going to put up a tougher fight than you think. Wilson sacked for the 3rd time today.
  9. You're right. It's physically impossible for any team not in navy blue and lime green to win an NFL football game in the state of Washington.
  10. They sure do. They beat Seattle and San Francisco already this year, as well as a tie with the latter. The fact that they beat Arizona twice doesn't mean much.
  11. Let's go Rams! Unbelievable. The Rams have a chance to go undefeated in the division with a win (or tie).
  12. It says Flacco is 4/8 for 34 yards, so it's not like he hasn't played.
  13. The Colts are playing fantastic ball on both side of the ball right now. Funny to think that there could be 3 teams in the playoffs with rookie QB's. They could all do some damage once there, too.
  14. Anyone know why Tyrod Taylor is playing QB for the Ravens?
  15. No one respects Vick's throwing ability. Can't run the option with 8 in the box every play.
  16. Completely disagree. Vick is a great athlete who can throw the ball. RGIII is a great athlete that is also a good QB. He has more than just a strong arm, he is smart, accurate and composed. I wouldn't describe Vick as any of those. I don't think Vick could run the Zone Read Option as often as RGIII does and make the right decision as often as he does. He would want to keep it and make the big play every time instead of taking the 4-5 yard gain the defence is giving the RB.
  17. Not to mention I hate Carroll from his USC days as well (Longhorns fan). Both worthy, as well as Kubiak and John Fox as well. But one thing that I really like that Carroll did which is something that is going to be the trend in the NFL in a year or 2 is running a more college-style offence with a traditionally college-style QB. The last 5 years I've really become a huge fan of duel-threat QBs that can run the Zone Read Option well, and the lack of success they've had in the pros. Started with a QB from my own Longhorns Vince Young. The guys has some major issues, but I have little doubt that if he was in Russell Wilson's shoes that he would have had a lot more prolonged success. Coaches are finally starting to smarten up and allow college QBs to be successful doing what made them successful in school. And I appreciate that.
  18. First of all, I highly doubt the Vikings would win 7 games with Toby Gerhart as their RB. Second of all, as much as the "true" definition of MVP is most valuable to their team, you can't deny that stats and achievements play a big part as well. He could set a major rushing record (perhaps the top honour an RB can have), or at the very least, do something that has only been done 6 times in history. Peterson would get my vote.
  19. I think Manning has the better case for Comeback player. He missed an entire season and at his age it was entirely possible that it was going to mean retirement. For Peterson then only thing that was amazing was how quickly how got back to his top form after the injury, not the fact that he came back. I think Peterson has the edge for MVP though. His numbers have just been crazy in a QB-dominated league, while Manning's numbers are one of the best in the league, but not blowing the competition out of the water like AP. MVP - Peterson Comeback - Manning DMVP - Watt Coach - Pete Carroll (puke)
  20. Has either of them said such a thing? Or are you basing it on what fans say?
  21. Spoken like a true Pats fan... lol. Truth is the Patriots have never won the SB without a top notch defence.
