  1. Still doesn't make sense. If Morris did that in Seattle I would have said the same thing. What about my comment was obsessive? I commented on something I thought was dumb.
  2. Worst possible time for a fumble Lynch. Probably his only major flaw.
  3. Has there been an instance yet? It's not like I really cared. I just thought Robinson looked pretty dumb doing the "shhh" move to the crowd when his team was losing. I'm sorry my comment got your panties in such a bunch. OMG the Redskins player is an idiot for celebrating after the fumble! Boooo!!!! Happy?
  4. Because it's the game that's on my TV...
  5. Sure players taunt all the time. Far too often if you ask me.
  6. Did he just shush the crowd while his team is losing? What an idiot.
  7. No, NFL is always 2 feet. Everywhere else is one though. CFL, NCAA, High School.
  8. Seahawks D ain't looking too good to start.
  9. A kid that I coached and played for my high school is their starting QB. Great kid, tall, can run, and has a rocket for an arm. But it's not quite as impressive as it sounds. Team BC puts together an all-star of all the best High School players in the province. The American team isn't quite the same, it's made up of "the best players not in the US Army All-American Bowl" to quote the announcer on the game feed. He also mentioned that "many of these players have college offers" so it's not like it's all D1 full-ride players. Having said that, still a VERY impressive feat. One name you all should listen for in the NCAA in a few years is Marcus Davis. He is by far the stud of this team, and guess what... he's only in grade 11. Plays for Mt. Douglas. Dominated triple A as a junior. Can't wait to see what he'll do as a senior. The running back talent outside of Davis is still incredible. Mark Lego, Mason Swift, Mahara from Van College (first name escapes me) and Maleek Irons who broke Reg Bradshaw's single season rushing record. I don't now about "some NFL players", that's still a long way to go. Definitely some D1 talent and future CFL players though.
  10. Here's a brilliantly fantastic article on the Skins offence. Great lead-up for the game tomorrow, I suggest everyone give it a read. http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/46484/why-the-seahawks-are-built-to-handle-washingtons-offensive-revolution Can't say I've read a ton, but Chris Brown is by far the best football writer/blogger I've seen.
  11. Well obviously they knew what they were getting in for when they traded up to get him. My point was more for Wilson, many teams were likely unwilling to switch their systems for a knew/different style QB. Mike Shanahan may have never had a QB like RGIII before, but in high school he played QB in a Wishbone offence, which was kinda like the Spread option of the 70's. It was innovative, new, and used lots of read option plays.
  12. Or just don't draft players that you would have to change the system for.
  13. The Bengals D is staying in it by holding the Texans to field goals.
  14. Not all do. In fact many don't. Sure, most will make a few adjustments in play-calling or whatnot, but few change the whole system. Pete Carroll is one, that is the whole point of my argument. For the rest of your post, I definitely agree.
  15. Wilson has been lucky to not get injured in his rookie year, RGIII hasn't been as lucky. Too early to say one will have more injury issues down the road. Also LOL at Wilson being the better runner.
  16. They haven't played a Zone Read Option team yet. Completely different D to try and stop. Plus the Seahawks have a tendancy to falter on the road. They lost to weaker teams like Miami, Detroit, St. Louis and Arizona on the road.
  17. I'm not convinced Miami or Cleveland would have allowed Wilson to play the system that suits his abilities as well as Pete Carroll and the Seahawks have. They would have wanted him to fit into their current drop-back and pass out of the pocket styles that they have Weeden and Tannehill running, guys who are better suited for it. I don't think Seattle was expecting Wilson to start at any point this season, but once he started out-playing the other options they figured out how to give him and the team the best possible chance to succeed.
  18. In reality though, he was the 6th QB taken. Clearly RGIII and Luck were right to go 1-2. Ryan Tannehill and Brandon Weeden both went in the first round, and both are better "traditional" QBs. Those teams shouldn't have drafted Wilson unless they were going to allow him to play a system that maximizes his abilities like in Seattle. The only other QB taken before him was that Brock Ostweiller or whatever. I mean if he wants to use a 3rd round selection as motivation, more power to him. But there are likely very few teams, if any other than the Seahawks, that would have given him a chance to succeed like he is.
  19. Nope. Schedules aren't balanced enough for that. Win your division and you earn home field for 1 game at least.
  20. The fans would not put up with it. Imagine if Luongo got traded to Calgary.
