  1. Slowly, the prospect cupboard is being restocked - albeit with less than elite talent. But I approve of the trend. Don’t make me not dislike you JR/PA!
  2. Even without knowing a GD thing about Bloom, I’m relieved for an end to the Riley Stillman Experience.
  3. This power you speak of quails before the Universal Force known as CANUCK LUCK (which is characterized by a complete lack of it when it comes to the draft lottery).
  4. Chicago showing everyone what a full comittment to a rebuild looks like, with the tanking for a generational talent portion looking to be executed flawlessly as well. *sigh*
  5. Well, the best that we JT-trade advocates can hope for is that some team comes with an offer that JR/PA just can’t refuse.
  6. I’m telling you this….my respect of this management team would increase tenfold if they divested themselves of the Miller (impending) contract. It would indicate to me that the team’s future is more important than optics….because, let’s face it, its a weird look to trade away a guy you just signed long term not too long ago. But if I were a gambler (I’m not) I’d put money down on it NOT happening.
  7. Nah, he’s hurt or he’s being held out for trade reasons. In this case seems like there is a fair bit of evidence it could be both.
  8. Slight signs of distress among the JT groupies, lol. It’s probably not going to happen, but I’d support it as it would signal, finally, a more thorough rebuild process around the EP, QH age group. Miller, with his age and 7 year deal not even kicked in yet….just doesn’t fit. And evidence is pretty clear that EP isn’t a big JT fan, despite all of the attempted PR spin in this regard over the past few weeks. If there is an off ramp to get out of this impending contract, I hope JR/PA have the stones to do it.
  9. Look at the pittance that the NYR got for Kravtsov. He’s a reclamation project. Whether or not that’s on the Rangers or the player doesn’t change the fact that’s what he is.
  10. Best case scenario, EP with a multi-point game to keep on his 100+ point pace….and we lose while providing some decent entertainment.
  11. What I’m really feeling reading all of this….is that the Canucks really need to finish bottom 5 this year and hopefully get some elite talent in the draft. This never ending acquisition of reclamation projects is just nibbling around the edges.
  12. Agreed. It’s a pretty nothing trade until Kravtsov proves its not. I’ve been watching a steady flow of clips of him since the trade….and I have to be honest I don’t like the way he plays. If they can get through to this kid I’ll give the Canuck staff massive kudos.
  13. I really hope that this is the case….rather than Kravtsov is simply a bust. Kinda hard to believe that team like the Rangers would seemingly decide upon having a crappy development system. With the cap system, developing your own talent on the cheap is rather vital. Bizarre.
  14. Charmin soft. For the kind of hockey I enjoy, this is not the type of player I’d choose to have on my team. I’m working on putting my trust in Rutherford/Allvin but its a slow process, lol.
  15. Can’t take responsibility from the player either. Some just don’t possess the inner fire. Do get some Juolevi vibes with ol’ Vitali here. Hope I dead wrong on this.
