I have always loved Garret. He was my second fav after the King. Just loved his mask. So wanted to have him win the damn car at that all star game. Every save was so intense. Thanks for sharing that awesome amount of info. The last game he does is going to be so %^&%&^* sad for me.

I have loved Petey from day one. The kid is amazing. Everyone thinks of his offensive skillset. He is so much more. The defensive game is pretty amazing. If the rest of the team could play a bit better on D, it would be represented in the stats. His coverage and pursuit are so good. Sure he has been on the ice for his fair share of goals against.. Other players lapses put him in a tough spot. His boardwork. So good. Winning so many battles, even when he loses it, he is right back in the battle. Love the mindset of it's my puck, don't touch. There are a lot of further subtleties to his board game. The one touches of to the center of ice to a speeding player are very good. What is even better is his mixing it up and holding it. He draws players closer to him, opening the ice even more for the player speeding up ice. He mixes his plays up so he is never predictable. Which leads into his PK ability. In the 80's some skilled guy started playing on the PK, changed the game. Being able to outthink your opponent on the PK is the key to breaking it. Petey has the intelligence to do this. As well as the skills. I really don't like skilled players blocking shots. Petey is so good at it though. Positioning and anticipation, he is so crafty. He baits the other team players by giving them a wider lane, then he closes that gap. If our D was just a bit better, I think he could double up on his points. Then our PK would become much better. Power plays against us would have to play a bit more defensive with Petey out there. Oh and the puck over the glass penalty.....he was going for a genius play. He was going to bank it off the glass, possibly off the goaltenders back, or into the middle of the ice for the forward who was rushing up ice. If he would have pulled that off, we'd be talking about it for ages. Love the kid, I wasn't even mad at him for trying that play....he can do no wrong in my eyes.

He is only under obligation to play for us for roughly 100 games. THAT is not worth a 1st and 2nd round draft pick. No one can say...."but if he signs with us!....." Because it can just as easily be "......$#!^, he didn't sign with us!"

That is the unknown. Could very easily not sign with us. We are down 2 potential talents. They may or may not play a those 100 games. I do think it is a high price for just that guaranteed 100 games. I do hope he signs, and at a reasonable rate, then maybe it's worth it.

I didn't think Krav was very noticeable last game. Maybe nerves. He is a reclamation project, so no one should get their hopes up to high. He really needs to be inspired by his teammates if he is going to have any sort of success. From his attitude in his online interviews, really grated my nerves. More or less saying he DESERVES ice time. That is a bad thing to say in your first interview. I will give him the language barrier free pass. But if I ever hear him say it again.....

I work for XXXXXXXX owned by XXXXXXXXXX. Who owns the team that I "have" to be a fan of. But since I am also on team tank....... Dallas will win 5-0 Seeing as I hate Pavelski....he's going to be the one to get the GWG. More than 29 shots RIP Gino P.S. Probably will be the only time I ever want Dallas to win, unless we are in tank mode next season.....and the season after that, maybe the season after that?!?!?!?

I have never liked Lockwood. I think many of the Canucks fans here highly over-rated him. There was nothing in his NHL game that I could take as needing him on our team. Looking at Kravstov's highlights.....he has great moves. If he can be part of a highly offensive line, which shelters his poor defensive game, that would be ideal. Or learning how to play a 200 foot game. Being around our other Russian players is a bonus. A complete win in this trade....even if he plays a handful of games for us.
