and so it begins lol according to my friend there was a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning but it wasn't really causing any problems last week they were testing out their emergency alerts system to make sure it worked lol i got 2 phone calls at home, 4 emails, and 4 text messages during their testing. at least they are thorough!

nothing in Bby yet weird, it started out being a really nice day weather wise. and suddenly it got dark and miserable. must be Fall in Vancouver!

The ceremony from Ottawa was pretty emotional and very well conducted. It was also really nice to see Prince Charles as a part of the ceremonies. War vets must have some amazing stories to tell. Kinda makes me want to serve in the Forces for awhile!

If he's kept on the 3rd line with Bernier and Bolduc his numbers will drop off from what he got last season Bernier, Bolduc, and Burrows are all finishers and not playmakers. It'll be hard for Burr to hit the scoresheet every night like he did with the Sedins, but it will add some toughness and skill to the 3rd line for sure

i just went for a run and the wind basically pushed me along lol but then i decided to run against the wind and it was like wearing one of those resistance parachutes!

14-day forecasts are not typically that accurate but it certainly is getting colder and colder out i like the idea of a white christmas but not so sure about a white halloween. little trick or treaters may not like that!

Hwy 1 in Bby and NVan is a construction nightmare and all the potholes are causing major mini pools of water all along the highway...not fun to drive!

not so much today but yes it can get pretty windy. that's when being outside gets impossible. another rainfoll warning has been issued for Metro Van

oh no...and when a RAIN warning is issued for Vancouver you know it's gonna be downpour i feel like i've forgotten how to drive in the rain. it was not fun to be on the highway today
