Boeser's shot is too good for him to not be super excited about. I see playing on a stacked team as a benefit. He'll play in big games, playing a scoring role. Keep him in this role as he develops and he should be burying goals his whole career at every level. He should expect to be the guy relied on to score everywhere he plays.

I was always a vocal member of the Kevin Bieksa is over rated club. He can't skate, makes questionable decisions with the puck and had a hard time moving the puck...WHy was he on this team again? Because he knocked out Fedor? *wrong place for this type of talk. Brock Boeser looks like a beauty tho, can't believe the Canucks keep getting these Gems later in the first.

KEVIN BIEKSA....LOL Kevin was never rwally that good here...look how much better we are without him, not even missing his toughness....Hutton is ALREADY the more attractive option than Bieksa ever was in his whole career. Only the fans on CDC and Don Cherry thought Bieksa was tough

He was the President of the NHLPA for years, and I would say he has a pretty good understanding of the hockey market in Vancouver, and what exactly is the role of the President of the organization short of interacting with the public anyways? We have a General Manager that makes the Hockey decisions and a President of Hockey operations that played Pro Hockey and was already the President of a Pro Hockey Association dealing with the public and whatever Hockey operations he needs to take care of. Linden is nailing it in my opinion.

people ned to watch the vids Funky Fresh posted in this thread or was it a different one. They are interview vids and the kid just seems really down to earth and reserved. But please feel free to speculate on his feelings about the Canucks CDC. I would be more nervous about a gushing candyass at the podium

the conditioning and strength training facilities and coaching staff NCAA players have access to is better than CHL teams... Altho they are playing less games they have more time to strength train and grow.

Virtanen is a local guy(this does matter, heart can't be taught), skates hard and fast, hits and can put the puck in the net.... O yeah and he is a kid that is built like a man....Any doubt of this guy's worth, work ethic or future in the NHL is a complete moron. People complain about his performance in the WJHC...I see a guy that accepted a role on a team and performed it o the best of his abillity...Next year, when Jake is 1 year older I am sure a bigger offensive role will be placed on him and he will be ready to accept and perform that role. Patience is a word many CDC'ers need to look up the definition too...also learn to pour a decent Burt Reynold's shot

I don't want Virtanen on a cozy line being spoonfed one timers by McAwesome...I want him down and dirty, playing with a chip on his shoulder and making the most of his ice time proving to everyone how much of a beast he is.

I doubt he gets too much PP time. He'll just dominate 5 on 5 all tourney long

You guys are doing it wrong. You should have just kept your regular class items and don't bother leveling up any factions until you are rank 3 in both the Vanguard and Crucible. The Vanguard vendors sell great Legendary armor pieces comparable to the Faction vendors, just not as stylish.

I love it. It plays amazingly well. There is not very much content, but the content there is is very focused and gives you goals to get your character to where you want them to be. The game really does start at level 20. I would recommend powering thru the story as fast as possible doing as many bounties as possible in the process so you can get your Guardian up to 20. ANd after 20 you are grinding out the weekly and daily missions and strikes as well as the Raid once you get to around Lev.28/28. 26 if you're exceptional at the game. It's really all about the loot.

You're close, but missed by a little. Cup winning teams have gritty centreman that play a 200 ft game. Toews Crosby Kopitar Bergeron Getzlaf 1 dimensional lightsweights that will likely get hospitalized in their first playoff series don't win championships.

The rules are in place so that the CHL dosn't lose all of its talent to the AHL. A nice compromise would be to allow all NHL teams 1 player that can be exempt from CHL and head to AHL provided they sign with the big club and could possibly eat up a year of his ELC so teams would have to be sure that they would want to commit to that certain player.

Done the raid 11 times in the last 4 days...Here is what I got Raid gear: 1 Titan Helm (i already had) 1 warlock boots (i already had) Raid weapons: I got the Rocket launcher twice, the shotgun twice, I got 3 more visions of Confluence (bringing the total to 5) The raid heavy machine gun Exotics: The truth rocket launcher and The Last Word hand canon (i've wanted this gun so bad)

Officially done with Nightfall strikes. I levelled a 3r character to be able to run the Nightfall again after not getting an exotic since launch...So now I have 3 characters that get me no exotics in the Nightfall... So bummed... and got nothing but shards and energy and chatterwhite in the raid again...All I want is The Last Word

Just ran the Weekly and nightfall this morn...I am 1 upgrade away from a fully upgraded Atheon's and I also couldn't really tell that it had been nerfed. It was hard to tell because the Nightfall had Void burn and I was able to complete in 25 mins. For comparison I was doing almost 250 crits on Sepiks with void burn and only 88 crits in Sepiks with no dam. modifiers. I still didn't feel gimped tho. I have also heard that they changed the way the Templar fight is ran in the vault of glass. I am pretty sure you can no longer jump over to the sniping platform to the left of the templar for cheese mode. This will make hard runs alot more challenging. I have yet to try my Suros Regime in the Crucible and prolly won't get a chance until fri. If anyone can give their opinions on how the nerf affects the AR's in PvP let me know! BTW, trolled so hard by RNG on the Nightfall...1st group I ran with I received 11 enegry fragments while the other 2 got Exotics. The next group only 1 of us got an exotic and myself and the other player in the fireteam both got legendary Snipers (It would be ok if it wasn't like my 3rd solar Dam sniper FFS)

Dude I completely agree that there only being 5 strikes make the Vanguard playlist a mind numbing chore. Especially since IU have the Bad JuJu bounty and need to complete 25...only 4 left. PRO TIP: Doing the weekly or Nightfall strike counts as 2 strikes for this bounty. And I am sorry to burst your bubble, but you can only have 200 Vanguard marks at any given time. So if you are not at Rank 3 yet go buy some legendary piece of armor, shard it and leave yourself some room for more marks for when you finally get to Lev. 3.

dude...that story makes me sad. I have played countless hours. 1 level 29 amd 1 28 and I have only received 2 exotic bounties. It sounds like you have terrible luck....go sacrifice a virgin goat or something
