    ya he's kind of a victim of his contract...with that money comes expectations that clearly he is unable to live up to...personally i think its post concussion, most players are just never the same after a bad one...even Daniel....Sid is one of the few who seems to have never lost a step but who knows how much better he might have been had he not suffered one...

    But as a third liner he is good..he is big and if he uses his size, hits, skates and can score 15-20 he's valuable...issue is not at 4.25 million as you say

    Sid also took a year off to heal, did he not?

    It just gets sickening to see this happen time and time again. I'll never forget the time Daniel scored off his skate while stopping hard, with no kick or directing and it was called off. A play I've seen called a goal multiple times since because there was no kicking motion.

    I'd have been fine if they announced no goal because it was directed in using the glove. But the call was 'no goal because it was off the glove'.

    All of us remember Philly scoring against us...blatantly off the glove but allowed to stand because there was no 'directing'.

    That's only because the military industrial complex that runs the Boston Bruins and their media insists on calling the Canucks divers and spreading that message across the league.

    When other teams like the Sharks, Kings, and Bruins dive, nobody in the media notices or cares.

    Have a look at the team PIM stats.... It's unbelievable that the Sharks have the most PPs in the league and have also been shorthanded the least. When I watch them all I see are uncalled infractions.
