Unbelievable how quickly Tortorella burnt out this team.
Look how worn out they are, and it's April. Did people really expect them to even be able to do anything had they squeaked into the playoffs?
Not sure what they're doing even qualifies as playing hockey anymore.
This is just brutal to watch. This is supposed to be entertaining, isn't it.

I would honestly give Torts another year to see what he can do with healthier players and more youth. Mike Gillis though should be on the outs, he's had 3 seasons.
I agree with the logic... but I couldn't take another season of Torts 'system'.
Tired players that can't keep up or stay healthy, brutal special teams.
If he can't change significantly then both have to go.

Actually the offense is the weakness of this team.
I'm leaning towards Garrison being one of the worst FA signings that has crippled this team. Just too soft and slow for a top 4 spot. Very disappointing.

Torts needs to go. This team is a shell of it's former self.... crumbled and broken, and tuned out this new coaching staff already.
His only hope was to put this final push for the 8th spot on the vets he was brought in to push/salvage.
Daniel/Kes/Burr should be challenged by playing together to show if they have any leadership left for this team.
The younger guys that have been sparksplugs of late (Kass, Mathias, Jensen, etc) should have free reign to keep rolling.
It just seems time and again Torts makes a decision that's counterproductive.

Sh!t, would've been a great fight Juice and Getzlaf. Getzlaf has an awesome personality and is basically the Bieksa of Anaheim...charachter guy, loved by everyone, and doesn't take crap.
...burrows has to step in like Bieksa can't handle himself lol
Cause Getzlaf wasn't going to go with Juice... just chirpin'. So good for Burr to step up!

He had a broken ankle which takes a year to heal and get 100% it's been a year just 2 weeks ago so isn't it a bit odd he's skating good again? No. He's healed completely and ready to go.
I broke an ankle playing ball hockey. Still wasn't right after a year so had debridement surgery. After that healed it's been great ever since.

IDK bout you guys, but I'm ecstatic about Booth lately. He looks like he's back to being who we traded for.

If both teams were held to the same standard I feel like we would have gotten 4 or 5 PP's that period.
That's what's so frustrating about weak calls being made (like Booth's). Just be consistent.

And I"m still pissed about no suspension for Nino. So tired of the bias out of Shanny. Disgusting really if you ever listened to his explanations and how they counter each other as he spins the results he wants out of each breakdown.
