I don’t mean violent either. Not at all. I’m talking about ‘jam’. Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, Sedinberry, gooseberry, but something that’s been cooked/fermented/bottled and ready to be spread over a small event that’s requires it to be as tasty as fuck. Other big time players had that jam. Bieksa scored the goal that got the team into the Finals. Burr got the team that got the goal that we needed. Those are ‘jam’ guys. Of course the Sedins were the most amazing player in the regular seasons they played and I will always hold them in a special place, but they weren’t the guys that could carry the team over the finish line. We’ve seen so many teams win the Cup with that one or two guys that Carrie’s the team on their back. Sedins weren’t them! And Damn it, Lions scored while I’m typing this!!

No Cup Champs have a healthy lineup brother.

When it came down to the most important games in our history, they folded. I love them both as players and community leaders. I have only one critique over their entire careers and then a thousand praises. The one critique was that they were soft as jello against a team that knew how to exploit them.
