Well, just finished watching Raonic Vs Berdych. And that was definitely a return to form for Milos. A much more confident player tonight and it just shows that when he plays to his ability he can be a challenge for anybody. Very impressive win. He gets Wawrinka tomorrow in the Quarter Final and they say he is in fine form as well. One of them get Federer or Fish in the Semis.

Raonic just unravelled against Isner. Once he got up a break in the 1st, he started spraying the ball all over the place. He couldn't be very happy with the way it went. A wasted opportunity. On the bright side he picked up 180 points and should move up to around 18th. On to Cincinnati.

Isner is a freak. Nice to see him and Milos spending time with this little guy on the right.

Bit of a boring game tonight. Chivas is terrible and the Whitecaps on the road got a point which is fine. Even the Chumiento chance was way offside which wasn't mentioned. The linesman had his flag up though... BTW, Barry Robson is not going to work out if he continues to bitch and whine at his teammates. Slow on the ball and constantly whining isn't going to win friends.

Colorado really blundered that game away. Caps were very fortunate to win last night...but hey...a win on the road is a win on the road!

Raonic will serve for the match when play commences tomorrow.

berdych loses in 3 straight tiebreakers...OUCH!

Djoker is in real trouble here! Down 2 sets on serve in the third. ...and then promply rattles off 6 games in a row to win the set and take command in the 4th....

5 Set loss in the 3rd round to Monaco at French. He picks up 80 points. I hope he plays at least one of the Wimbledon tuneups. Milos just isn't able to stick with the top guys on clay. We'll see if the grass makes a difference.

Watching Raonic vs Monaco Gotta say, if Raonic played even average he would win this match going away. But he is playing like crap. 57% 1st serve percentage. Error after error. Even so, he won the 1st set. 2nd set has been terrible.

French Open draw is out. Raonic is in Nadal's Quarter. Potential tough match in the 3rd round with Juan Monaco and then he bows out assuredly in the 4th round vs Nadal....

That's ridiculous. That is not what happened at all.

And that is that. Milos loses in the 1st round to Mayer...Only 57% 1st serve. Looks like he played quite poorly.

Draw for Rome ATP1000 is out. Milos gets another crappy draw with 24th ranked Florian Mayer in the 1st round and than Nadal in the 2nd....and even if he miraculously upset Nadal he would get Lopez in the 3rd round. While its great to see him up against the Big 3, it sucks that he is getting them so early. He needs points now so he gets to 16 seed going into Paris...but probably won't happen now with another likely early exit.

Milos strength is his ability to finish rallies early with aggression. The longer the rallies go the less likely he is to win the point. Aggresive early is the better strategy for him. And that match was terrific. 1/8 in the break points vs 1/2 for Federer is the stat of the match. Then he made a couple of errors when the tension rose in the tiebreak.

Just looking at the draw for the Madrid ATP1000. Not a good one for Milos. He gets David Nalbandian in the 1st round....and if he gets by the former world #3 next up will be Federer..

Just caught the replay. Raonic played very well, but did not get his first serve in as consistently as was required...and Ferrer played fantastic tennis. Seeing how ecstatic Ferrer was at defeating Milos and making the final shows just how much respect Milos is gathering on tour.

So awesome. I had to work all day with no internet, so was wondering what happened. Huge win for Milos. His first against a Big 4 player. Up against Ferrer in the Semis. The opponents just getting tougher, as Ferrer is a clay courter playing at home. Another early morning start so I should catch a bit before work.

Raonic up a set

Raonic d Almagro 6-3 6-3 A massive result for Milos. Defeating the 13th ranked Spaniard Almagro in Barcelona on clay. A huge statement made today by Raonic. On to the quarters where he will meet Andy Murray.....

Milos advanced to round of 16 at Barcelona today. For his efforts he gets to face 6th seeded 13th ranked Almagro who is playing at home on his favorite surface. I'll be happy if Milos can take him to tiebreaks and maybe sneak out with a set. A match victory is a tall order.

Whitecaps just crap the bed. Martin Rennie leaves substitutions on bench for WAYYYYY too long. Fresh legs for San Jose the difference.
