Looking forward to Canadas World Group Playoff Tie with Israel Sept 16-18th. With Raonic back healthy you would have to make Canada a significant favorite to make it thru to the 2012 World Group!

The Hassli-Jarju pairing is terrible. They are simply too different. They looked like they don't like each other. They won't feed each other into space. No runs off the ball. It was embarrassing.

Well that was a really good read. He is saying a lot of things that I like to hear from a propect. I was VERY disappointed in his season last year...but he sounds very self-aware...this quote in particular. He admits here that he thought he was better and more ready than he actually was at the time. That attitude hurt him tremendously. However, if he learns the lesson properly, he will come out the better for it. Will be interesting to see how he comes into camp, his shape and his attitude.

So Canada sans Raonic and Dancevic erased a 2-0 deficit to defeat Ecuador to advance to the Americas Zone World Group Playoff! They will face a nation drawn from one of the 8 losers from the first round of this years World Group. Not sure if they could draw one of the other Group 1 teams. Pretty sure they can only face one of the teams falling out of the World Group. Davis Cup is so confusing! Anyway Great Job by the guys that went and played!Pospisil, Bester and Nestor.

I've watched several of these IPL games....soooo good to be able to watch these games.. One observation....Cheerleaders.... Was a bit surprised to note they are all white!! Whats up with that?! Surely there are some local ladies that fit the bill!!

btw, Milos defeated Gilles Simon in 3 sets today to move into the Semi-Finals against Verdasco. Huge match. If he can defeat Verdasco on clay it will be a huge step in his development. Heck defeating Simon is a huge step.
