  1. love one of the announcer at the world juniors sayin "tryamkin plays for a team sponsored by major car manufacturing plant in the KHL but I think me may have been assembled in one"
  2. Well . Maybe I just got the wrong impression then. If that's the case, good. And who knows , maybe he will surprise everyone
  3. Ok. U don't like general terms , so how about , allot of fans. Is that better ? Happy now ?
  4. And that's probably what everyone should be thinking. Sadly , he is coming in to cheer up a disgruntled fan base and will be expected to do way more then he's probably capable of. He's is intriguing , but I highly doubt he's guna walk in here and dominate the way everyone seems to expect him to. He is still very young and will need time. I guess u never know though ( as we saw with Hutton). Personally , I just want to see potential and that's all I'm expecting
  5. I bet Kesler could honestly say that to allot of kids around town.
  6. Trade deadline will kill it. It will be minor compared to what's ahead I bet
  7. No kidding. He's rated 10 spots behind brock now on some lists. And everyone thinks it was a fluke. lol.
  8. They see that no matter what u have done in the past , u better to have something to offer in the present. I would assume they would see that as motivation to skate hard. Nobody wants to play for a team with nostalgia issues. They tend to loose allot Giving ice time and a roster spot to a guy that's not playing well would be frustrating to a young guy that has more to offer. It's not about "kicking him to the curb". Every NHL player has a shelf life. When he stops playing top end , he stops getting top end. That's how business works. I have no doubt they will do it respectfully , but the results will be the same
  9. 4:10 mark. Wow. That's one of the fastest releases I have ever seen. This kids hands are unreal. That shot actually made my jaw drop
  10. Yeah always sad to see an iconic player that everyone loves coming to the end of his run. True nuck. Hopefully we can find someone younger to fill shoes. Tall order. He's done allot for this team
  11. Ya that's true. Now I feel like a douche. Lol
  12. Lol. Don't set the bar very high do you
  13. Is that what passes for hot these days ? Boss? Looks wise , average at best imo
  14. http://www.vancourier.com/pass-it-to-bulis/brock-boeser-s-shootout-goal-is-so-good-we-wrote-a-blog-about-it-video-1.2157335
  15. I'm sure this article from December was posted already , but I love this quote. And obviously since then he has impressed allot further "And, with 21 points, he was 11th overall in Division 1 scoring, which led to NHL analyst Pierre McGuire calling Boeser a projected “big-time” NHL player" This could be one of the best picks we have made in a very very long time. Canucks fans should be very exited.
  16. Which is why he is better off where he is with more time to work on conditioning and lots of ice time. Less games , but more ice time per game. I really really hope he stays put for a least one more year
  17. Ya like I was posting , there isn't one NHL player in North Dakota history that spent less then two seasons s there. I really want to see the kid play here obviously but I think he's better off where he is for at least one more season. North Dakota has pumped out some pretty unreal hockey players so I'm pretty comfortable with him there working on his size strength and skill
  18. I think we should stay away from anyone with the last name white. Lol
  19. My last post was meant for this quote. Lol. Beautiful facility
  20. Wow what a dump. Better get him out of there stat. Lol. Could his success and development this year have anything to do with being in North Dakota? Hmmm. Maybe hey.
  21. And most of those guys struggled allot in the first couple years and probably could have benefited from another year or so in college imo. Turris didn't exactly burst onto the scene for example. He's actually a good example of a guy that was rushed. Leddy same thing. Kesler , well most of us remember how painful his development was to watch at times, and lots painted him as a bust early on because of it. Thankfully he managed to come around. Ur examples actually drive my point through even further. Look at a guy like Oshi. They took their time with him, and when he finally went pro, he stuck at the NHL level and sure as hell made a bigger impact in his career then a guy like turis bouncing around from AHL to NHL (with very little success). Especially early on using a guy like Kyle Turris as an example of development success was probably not a good idea.
